I think Hoshi stands out because he has so much energy and once you're looking at him you notice how amazing he is in all those subtler ways, i think Dino because he doesn't have that inicial way to stand out is harder to notice in a group that's so syncronized. Like he has all those more subtle things that actually make you a better dancer but doesn't have that obvious level of energy that Hoshi has to get you to watch him to begin with.

Seventeen have two main dancers: Hoshi AND Dino. Maybe it’s not reflected in the MV bcs of different killer parts but I need everyone to know that Dino is actually a main dancer too and he’s been showcasing his dancing abilities in his Danceology series.

you guys.. they have different style of dancing but it doesn’t mean that one is superior than the other. dino is more fluid and agile but hoshi meshes with the beats when he moves, which is comparable to none. hoshi is the BEST in what he does and so is dino. don’t be weird pls 😭🙏

As I know and fan of Seventeen since pre debut, Hoshi and Dino is the main dancer of Seventeen. Hoshi is amazing and his stage presence make him standout than the others. But Dino, Jun and The8 have their own color and skills that make them different to each others. Hope in the future more people recognize and appreciate Dino is also one of the main dancer of Seventeen 🥰❤ not forget to mention Woozi's dance skills also really good too. all of them is amazing and proud to be CARAT 💎

Desclaimers: Hoshi and Dino are BOTH my two bias. I'm a dancer. I love all members. Hoshi is incredible and deserves the praise and to be performance leader (also probably the best idol choreographer) but Dino deserves to be mentioned cause not only he's the other main dancer in Seventeen but technically speaking also the best and most efficient.

When i'm upset that Dino is not mentioned as the other main dancer, I look into the comments and see how many people are upset too. Support maknae!!! but also Support Hoshi our hamstiger and Support SVT

As a baby carat, i truly love hoshi and I admire his dancing and energy a lot. But I really wish there was equal treatment towards Dino, whom is a main dancer in Seventeen as well. I find judging based on group choreographies kinda unfair. Whoever gets more and better spotlights, catch attentions more obviously. So if one of main dancers doesn’t have as much spotlights as the other members, he easily gets overlooked and ngl It’s so freaking sad

All of Seventeen are seriously amazing dancers. Not a single member is lacking and their synchronicity is pure perfection. ‘Don’t wanna cry’ is what really drew me in (besides ‘pretty you’ with Joshua becoming an instant meme king) because their movements were so unbelievably precise and the choreo is so difficult with all the isolations and they absolutely killed it and made it look so easy 😭 I really love that Seventeen is getting so much love and attention right now! They absolutely have earned and deserved it! Seriously am so proud of all of them! Also, Woozi continues to slayyy with all the songs he’s composed/produced/written for them. His mind is genius. Theres two main dancers in Seventeen😭. Hoshi is amazing and deserves all his flowers but people overlook Dino all the time bc he focuses on control rather than energy. If Hoshi is the Sun Dino is like a black hole. They have very different styles and Hoshi catches your eye with his power and fluidity, while Dino draws your focus to him with his control and charisma. (I also have stuff to say abt Jun and The8 bc 😍 but this is about the main dancers.) I feel like the host wanted a Hoshi focused video but didnt want to outright make once bc they never mentioned that there was more than one main dancer. (Horangdans are really disappointing in this comment section bc if they had said 'Oh (a different member) is the main dancer' and had not been corrected you'd be up in arms but when other people call out the fact that the host never mentioned that there were two main dancers all of a sudden they're akgaes and trying to take away from Hoshi??? No one had an issue with Hoshi being praised, theyre upset bc the video creator never actually gave any information about the main dancerS and clearly tailored this video with only Hoshi in mind (and used people who are clearly familiar with SVT) which is disingenuous. The video couldve easily been "Professional Dancers React to Seventeen Hoshi" and there would've been no issue.)

Their stage presence - singing and dancing, are way, way up there, and there’s nothing that can convince me otherwise. But the thing with Hoshi is, I am also saying this in other videos related to him being the Performance leader, he just doesn’t dance or memorize the routine. He’s all out! When the routine says raise your arm like this or twist your foot like that, he does it no matter if he’s just practicing or already performing on a stage. He’s very detailed, very fluid. If you try to watch their dance videos and dissect them bit by bit or watch the placement of their hands or feet, you’ll immediately say, **_”oh yeah, Hoshi is on another level”._** The Performance Unit, actually, is very fine. While Hoshi is a very detailed and fluid dancer, Dino is very powerful. His passion for dancing oozes every time. Minghao is athletic and very flexible. And Jun is an aesthetic, expressive dancer. But there dance styles are different and both are talented in their own way. Dino is definitely one of the more energetic one's and his stage presence is no joke. The member's themselves have acknowledged it. I guess the difference comes from the cheering shouts? Dunno what to call it. Dino does em during dance practices but only Hoshi does it in actual performances

It's super obvious by the way non fans think ONLY Hoshi is the main dancer despite seeing all of them together. It's the way they're soo hooked onto Hoshi's expression, his energy and aura that they can't even look at anyone else.(and that gets some stans pressed lmao) but THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT STAGE PRESENCE IS. Dino's stage presence might be 'no joke' but still it's nowhere near what HOSHI has.

the replies saying they dont have positions lmfao, they actually do have it. ive been here since 2017 and theyre openly saying it. the members who have main positions: scoups and vernon - main rappers hoshi and dino - main dancers dk and seungkwan - main vocalists (which they still say a lot these past months bc they are! which means the other main positions are confirmed too.) the rest are lead positions btw no sub.

dino is the other main dancer. hoshi's stage presence is amazing, but dinos energy and performance is also amazing. i wish dino was mentioned as a main.
