San's original position is Lead Vocalist (he auditioned as). But he's really that great that always got mistaken as main dancer, even the members acknowledge how San improve soo much than when he just entered without any dance background and he's now one of the best dancer not only in ateez but also in whole kpop industry. Hongjoong and Seonghwa said on live, they will be upset if San didn't call as dancer line. On their latest comeback showcase, FINALLY, KQ introduce San as "Lead Vocalist, Lead Dancer and Fan Attracting Fairy".

I don’t know if San will ever see this or if he’s aware of all the times professionals or idols praised him but he really deserves it more than anyone else. Like ateez always say, San is hard work and passion. He went from nothing to becoming the best performer in kpop, making a name for himself in the industry months after his debut despite coming from a small company and being part of a still not known group. He literally is the definition of hard work. When the other members were all way ahead of him, 5 out of 8 coming from different agencies/companies so with a solid start while San only knew how to sing and compose songs. And despite that look at him now, not a professional that doesn’t point out how good of a dancer he is. So yes while all of them are great dancers and in kpop there are so many talented idols, no one deserves these praises more than San. He worked hard to get where he is now and I he deserves to be proud of himself and everything he achieved

I love how san antis try to say people who say san is one of the best dancers in ateez cant tell the difference between performing and dancing but then you have so many professional dancers say that san is an amazing dancer. Ive seen similar to this video they say san is the best or top 2 dancers. The antis try to hold san to a position that was given over 5 years ago as if people dont constantly change

they always use the term 'overdancing' which is honestly not a thing in the dance world. It's what someone made up in kpop to complain about energy. If you look at dancers performances, they usually ALWAYS dance with such energy. It's not looked down upon

San has all my admiration, going from failing a dance assessment as a trainee to becoming one of the most recognized performers of the fourth generation. His hard work has taken him far and his style is quite recognized in Korea and the world

To those who are trying to cast shadows of doubt on San and say he was only a student taught by the other members how to dance during his trainee days, and assuming San really was a non dancer before he became one all because of his teacher-members... this is all I could say: A good teacher or professor will easily spot the best student in class and ofc give him that recognition for his hard work and commitment. A teacher cannot be insecure to a student that he knows someday will be able to achieve more than him in the future. Isn't it the best accomplishment for a teacher to know that awkward and difficult student he once guided and taught is now the best dancer in his class bc of him? I'm also pretty sure that student achiever will always thank his teacher as he develops his craft on his own. I love how San performs and I will be his fan until my last breath.

san had a dance teacher pre-debut tho? he had a teacher and learned a lot from his teacher. but san-yunho-mingi were the closest pre-debut. all the trainees under kq were like rivals but those 3 didn’t care about it and wanted to debut TOGETHER so much. that’s why mingi and yunho helped san. after their training ended, they were always meeting to dance together and help san to improve. that’s such a precious friendship there. i cant believe that people use it to shade san’s hard working now. disgusting behavior from disgusting people

I love seeing their take, relatable content! I danced through college and the dance component, that artistry, is a big part of what got me into Kpop and Ateez. I got pulled in by watching Kingdom Legdndsry War recently, am a new Staytiny, but Ateez Bouncy is what really got me sucked in to following current Kpop, now I'm stanning so hard, Ateez is amazing! Also, "commitment to the bit" is something I use all the time, it totally speaks to San's performance ethic, whatever they are doing he DOES THAT 😂😂😂

San comes from a martial arts background. He's a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo...no dance experience until he joined KQ as a trainee. He was originally not going to be debuted with Ateez, because KQ didn't think his dancing was up to the other guys, but he put in the hours & now he's Legendary. His fancams are some of the most viewed. Upcoming idols study him to try & emulate his stage charisma. I really want y'all to watch the M2 performance of Bouncy & one of the concert cams for Cyberpunk. Sorry in advance if you do.

Yeah it’s so weird how San’s biggest haters are the Atiny themselves, most non Atinys praise San and like him even when they don’t stan them. Atinys are so weird for treating San like that. I love San so much and it hurts me how he gets treated like that when he works so hard and is improving so much because of his hard work and all he does is give love to atinys. But these jealous fans are trying so hard to make him look bad because they can’t handle that he is the most popular member.

(tho according to the members, he’s a main dancer and the best dancer along with yunho) san’s dance skills are recognized by many dancers and professionals in the industry. many non-fans think he’s a main dancer. he definitely has main dancer techniques. he actually didn’t know how to dance when he joined kq at a point he couldn’t join the other members for the monthly test and cried alone. the members said san was not in the dance line when they debuted but right now he’s a dance line member and is one of the best dancers in the group! now he makes choreographies, even the killing part of deja vu choreo was made by san! he’s one of the members who memorize the choreography fastest, he’s also one of the members who help the other members a lot! San is very famous as a performer and known as the best 4th gen performer and one of the best performers in the industry. so you’re definitely not wrong for choosing him! thank you for acknowledging his hard work. he deserves all the praise Update: san was confirmed as a main dancer in December 2023

San is the best performer. Starting from how he immerse himself during the performance & delivers the apt expression thoughout without missing out is truly remarkable. He's my insipration. I respect him as a performer. He's a professional who will give his 200% for the performance. A person who gives his all inspired me a lot. Ik many r fighting/arguing about positions n stuff but do true performers really warrant any type of names for "position"? Bcz for me Choi San is beyond that. From the first day i stanned him, i didn't care about his position/role in the group. Bcz HE'S THE BEST PERFORMER & BEST EXISTENCE. His hard work all these years has made me a pudding not his postion.

San is literally the reason how I became an ATINY! Just his stage presence and energy is everything! Every member in ATEEZ is so talented in every way and I love them!

San is what every main dancer dreams to be... That's why he is the most picked 4th gen idol as a role model and that's why 90% of professionals consider him a main dancer... He pours his whole soul into dancing, he is so flexible, so groovy, so sharp and he has his own style that make his dance more satisfying to watch... If you put San among 1000 dancers you will recognize him cuz he is unique dancer with his own style. That's why most of 4th/5th gen idols watch his fancams to learn ATEEZ choreos because he is that main dancer who dance with all his soul with flexibility, sharpeness, grooves while being able to add his own style He is such a sweetheart as well I believe that he will feel so happy watching this... Sani my man dancer ❤️❤️❤️ it's really funny atiny always get out of their way to say San doesn't have technique, he's just a performer, someone dances better by atiny graduated at the academy of knowing nothing, when he's been praised since beginning by professionals, and idols choosing him as a model, atiny blame San for their fav not being praised, recognized, popular, anything that San name comes out they want the same for their bias and they sometimes force people to do it, they send hate for people who mention him and don't mention others members, it's ridiculous and it's NOT San's fault he is able to capture people's attention, kq and atiny should use this but they prefere play blind, hide him or make fun of him, I swear when I compare San treatment of his own fandom(and KQ) with other groups it's embarrassing this fandom throws San on the fire for a couple of likes, they not protect him at all, the hate San gets in his own fandom it's becoming apparent for other people/fandoms, atiny are not scared to say hateful things now and only San fans defend him because the majority of the fandom agrees, I've seen other groups stans saying that atiny normalized discret San and it's true it become the norm and you know why? because they don't disagree and it's stressful to fight a whole fandom, new atinys that chooses him as bias already noticed with days in the fd. @@mikimishisa he has surpassed them or at least reached their level, any unbiased Atiny can see that, not to mention on top of that, all the professional dancers that have praised San. Even the members have called San one of the best dancers in the group and that was two years ago. Just imagine what they think of him now. You can’t be a incredible performer without good dance technique. That would look awkward and make no sense at all. San has worked hard to improve his technique and it’s very evident. You’re not one to talk and tell me to not tear down a member when you did the exact thing in your comment by calling San an aggressive dancer. Just because San knows where to put energy and more dynamics into moves doesn’t make him an aggressive dancer. This just proves to me you have no idea what your talking about when it comes to dancing. You’ve made your stance very clear.
