Real ones already watched the visit to Cobham and will watch it again...other than that I do feel as though we are getting to a mentality where no matter who is injured everyone who is available will put in a good shift. Because ultimately they want to remain in the starting line up. And it's an opportunity for them to play.

Even though he hasn't been in his best form recently, I still think Poch should pick Sterling over Madueke. His experience and yet still pretty good dribbling attributes could make a bigger difference at the moment (in a good way).

I think Sterling will start Poch will use the international games as excuse and even if Mudryk starts Poch will sub him off 50 th min to play Sterling

It’s the signs of the times Niinii. Back in the day most players would start competing at the top level at an age where their body was mature enough to cope better. Now, the talent is rich and extremely young. Everyone is on the get them while they’re young vibe as well. You end up with a bunch of ‘still growing’ bodies that might struggle due to the increased demands of the modern game. It’s a gift and a cure.

Just to throw this out there, Mudryk is a better 9 than Jackson, and Jackson is a better left winger than Mudryk. Mudryk has better finishing and clinical ability plus out scoring his Xg. If we do get de zerbi, Mudryk will cook.

Jackson being better outwide is a testament to him being a better player overall. Playing outwide is more demanding and the central zones could be the perfect place for someone like Mudryk, no CM is catching him, and he's much better at converting chances compared to most other forwards we've got.

Funnily enough, playing out with your feet isn't the most important skill for a *_g o a l k e e p e r._* But even if it was... Sánchez has faced a higher average chance quality from the opposition and yet he's been better at making saves. Petrović is underperforming severely. Also, Petrović attempts 20% more launched (long range) kicks and he has a worse pass success rate. Petrović is in the bottom third out of all keepers in the top five leagues for launch completion, and Sánchez is in the 89th percentile. Sánchez intercepts about 50% more crosses and high balls per 90. He also completes more aggressive sweeping actions even though Petrović spends more time farther out of his goal on average. But let's not have facts get in the way of a good waffling 😭

If CFC cannot get their Preferred Manager even Di Zerbi will be a step up from Poch. Why did it take ppl two thirds through the season to see what was evident about Sterling from the first third of the season. He doesn't have the legs to give you defensive cover, he is not a good passer, he is not as explosive as he used to be, he's selfish because he wanted to get back into Eng squad and he is an opportunist not a play maker. Don't get me wrong he's a great guy who deserves our respect for what he has done on and off the pitch.

No, it's crazy some of our fans have no pride I hear people saying bring back Lukaku after what he did. You must've forgot what she did my fellow blue she sued the club after the club had been good to her all these years , she's a snake because her problem was with Mourinho and she tried to ruin the club aswell to get more money

Niinii you are part of the problem of the podcast base, we have all agreed and can see with our own very eyes that Mudryk is more effective playing centrally in midfield and Palmer is more effective playing in right wing, so why do you want to see both players play in positions that do not bring out their best for the team. Also, the 4231 formation exposes the team as a whole, and showcases their weaknesses. The best system for this current Chelsea team is the 352 ball possession system, but that means players like Noni, Gallagher, Cucurella and Mudryk would have to be taken out of the team, which I think Poch does not have boldness and tactical means to do.

@@kennyo0079 some of you fans just like the 4231 formation regardless if it doesn't suit our current players, it exposes the weaknesses of our players, but the 352 hides the weaknesses of our players and brings out their strengths. Pochettino never played a proper 352 system. Colwill has always played at left back for a while, Jackson is not a pure lone no.9, Enzo and Caicedo are not disciplined enough in a pivot and need protection, Gallagher isn't creative, technical and he is a headless chicken, Mudryk is a winger with no football brain and no close ball control, Madueke is rash and has no ball control, Sterling is a winger but cant dribble past a player and makes the wrong decisions, Chilwell is not effective at left back... tell me how these individual weaknesses can play together effectively in a 4231 formation
