The current owners offered a 5 year contract to an untested coach. Admittedly, he won with Leicester City, but he is now at a huge club with really average players on ridiculous contracts. The owners have forgotten that in football you don't trade contracts like in most US sports. The coach will receive a huge settlement if they sack him and he could still get a job at a Lazio or Atalanta or even EPL team ranked 18th - 12th. Chelsea are top 5. Chelsea will finish 8th or 9th, mainly because the other teams have better players. Only Thiago Silva could have played for a Mourinho Chelsea. That's the owners fault, and there is no clear plan. Mudryk has had 3 different managers in 18 months all with different ideas 😂😅
