Monk Synopsis: Adrian Monk (Emmy®-winner Tony Shalhoub) was once a rising star with the San Francisco Police Department, legendary for using unconventional means to solve the department's most baffling cases. But after the tragic and still-unsolved murder of his wife, Trudy, the devastated Monk becomes obsessive-compulsive. His psychological disorder has caused him to develop an abnormal fear of virtually everything: germs, heights, crowds... even milk. Monk's condition costs him his job, but he's back as a police consultant despite the unique challenges he encounters in his everyday life. These challenges lead Monk to hire a personal nurse, Sharona Fleming (Bitty Schram), who is always there to offer her assistance, even with the simplest of tasks (like organizing his sock drawer). Her less-than-subtle prodding keeps the "defective detective" on track in his investigations, as well as in his efforts to convince Captain Stottlemeyer (Ted Levine) to allow him to return to the force.

I feel so bad for Stottlemeyer and his car in this.😢 Also, Randy going undercover is hilarious.😂

He could have asked for his keys at any time.

I think this is one of those cases where he's upset about his car but he's not upset because of the reason why his car was totaled cuz he even said he would have done the exact same thing if it had been his kid also just thought of something what if it had been Benji and danger and Sharona was driving as we've all seen her driving skills I think the car would be even worse but again the captain didn't care because in the end it was for a good reason his car was totaled Plus I think he didn't take the keys because Natalie would have taken them anyway and wasted precious seconds and protecting her kid one of those things where you just don't know what to think
@sassbrat

Yeah but what good would have done Natalie would have stole the keys anyway as you know she's a badass. And his car was only totaled protecting Julie and he said it straight up when he saw the mirror that any parent would have reacted the way Natalie did so he's not upset in a way or a sense it's one of those hard to explain feelings

"Are you dead?" Imagine if she said "Yes."
Natalie "Sorry Captain" "That's okay it's just a dent" Later on.. she destroyed the Capatian's new car even more
Why did the Captain not take the car keys from Natalie after the first crime scene?? LOL
The part about the "code" is so hilarious!

Same. And psych. 😂
The thing that kind of stuck with me is the deranged man who, despite his massive mental illness, still went out to find a perfect stranger (i.e., Natalie's daughter) and do what he could to help her not be hurt (even if it was just giving her a rabbit's foot).

Good on the show for not collating mental instability with violent behavior.
Randy as the mother was hilarious😂😂😂
"We need a code." "How about 'Mother of God, he has a knife!'?" And people think Randy was dumb.

He's not dumb. He just tries way to hard to be smart.
I love it that Natalie was concerned about the mirror our favorite Captain looked at the car. He was upset but not upset. Does he even said she totaled the mirror because she thought her child was in danger and he even said any parent would react the way she acted so at least his car got totaled for a good reason
I just love how they yell at her that she can't go in yet they don't make a single move to stop her

Similar case happened 30 years ago,..... some one killed all the Sarah Connor s in LA .. The culprit has still not been caught to this day & the case is the biggest unsolved mystery of our times.

As Shakespeare wrote: "There is nothing new under the sun.", which itself is borrowed from the Bible, every idea is recycled numerous times into different versions, so too this.

However there are proofs that there’s connection between Sarah Connor case and the police station attack. I wonder if they can connect all the dots… It’s been 30 yrs there has to be some clues missed.

"I need some sugar mama, give me some sugar!" "First come first served." xD
I love how all was relieved and happy that it was not Juile.
I remembered the ending, but I forgot that it turned into Psycho for a bit halfway through.
Why wasn't Jason Gray-Standford (Randy) ever nominated for Monk. He is so funny and believable as the naive cop.
Ngl, I forgot the safeword too. "I wish there were 10" stuck better than the other one
Thanks for including the wrap up

There's alot of layers here this is clearly a take off of Psycho which was based on Ed Gein who also inspired Buffalo Bill from The Silence of Lambs who was played Ted Levine
