@@stevesomerfield8402 Yes, Steve - although at our Medical Clinic, we call it "Spoiled Child Syndrome", it's simple that people now have had things too easy - for so long ... .they have become "spoiled", and _will_ keep being spoiled (and getting *worse* )- until they are given consequences for their behavior. Since society 'keeps rewarding", rather than giving consequence, they will get worse, and worse and worse. For example: blacks now are demanding that white people give them their house - hopefully paid off, and hopefully with a nice luxury car in the 3-car garage. Can you *believe* that?? One day, the law will require that - as it now forbids anyone for saying even the slightest derogatory word. Although this is technically "Marxist Communism", it's what we have welcomed in with open arms. As far as the "something in he water" joke - I'm laughing, but I'm _very_ against anything but H and O in water. We moved out to the country - for that very reason (and others) - no more Cl or Fl (17 and 9 - in row 17 [poisons]) in our water. We (my Doctor husband and I) have heard that they will start putting the vaccine into the water supply, so if that *is* true (all theories have become true so far), then we are already "ahead of the game". Our society has become "sick" - morally, as well as mentally and physically. Disaster is around the corner. Obviously I hope I'm wrong, but I was to when I predicted the unimaginable: Obama will win". Then "Obama will be re-elected". then "there will be more than 1 shot". I hoped I was wrong then (but sadly, I was right - at that tender young age) and I hope I'm wrong now. I also hope Revelation is wrong, but sadly, I believe it *will* happen.

As a tax paying legal American citizen, I don't condone my tax money funding this abomination being played on the children

My wife is a teacher so is my older son they don't do this (they teach their subjects and that is it) . A child's brain and reasoning are not fully developed, according to commonly known psychology. This push for children choosing genders isn't about the kids, it's about the parents and their desire to fit in to some imagined fashionable group of modern thinking. No rational thinking parent would allow, let alone encourage and enable, their child to make a permanent decision based upon a possible temporary feeling. If you love your children the right way, they won't need to change identities.

There is one common thing I start to see in this kind of hearings - when you ask a simple question, the "inclusive" person talks a lot, talks about everything else but not to answer the question. And this should tell you everything you need to know. We should not have any more debates on this topic.

This is just a symptom of societies underlying boredom. The fact that this is even a thing concerns me.

This is sickening that our elected officials are debating such issues. Unintelligent, incompetent and evil.

Never thought I would ever long for the 70s but this time in America has gone to hell.

My daughter at the age of eleven, expressed that she wanted to be a boy. I asked her why, and she said boys had more fun like playing football. I explained to her that she doesn't need to be a boy to play football and that women can do what men do. She's never mentioned it again.

I thought I wanted to be a boy for similar reasons. I even decided at an early age I didn't want children. As I aged and matured, like every human being, my views changed as well as what I wanted in life. This happens to every child. Give them time to grow and mature. If these children want or feel they need to change their gender when they are an adult, let them. Until then.. let's just love them guide them, and give them the ability to cope with life's challenges. Let's teach them to love their beautiful uniqueness inside and out.

Its sad that a child could possibly have a sex change because they think for a week they wanna be a boy or girl.. but I can't have a hysterectomy to avoid ectopic pregnancies (which I've had more than one) because one day one might be viable. I don't want kids.. buy a minor could possibly have that it done not understanding fully the repercussions. Hell, when I was a kid I full heartedly thought I could be a frog.. I'm so glad my parents didn't let me get the operation for that.

Wow the world, has truly changed so much, I don’t remember in my time this was never a debate.

I wish the Congress could stop pretending that this insanity deserves respect. It doesn’t. This need to be healed by the proper professionals before it spreads even more.

I look forward to the lawsuits from children turned adults who will sue their parents, doctors and hospitals for allowing these procedures while they were children and too young to understand or give consent. I hope many parents, doctors and facilities are sued into oblivion for it.

It’s not that we won’t give a straight answer. He is giving deliberately vague answers so as to avoid having to actually acknowledge what she is asking. It’s the Motte and Bailey fallacy. He holds an extremist view, that he knows is indefensible, which is why he deliberately redirects answers toward the motte, an easier to defend position. The position here is that parents are not allowed to stop a minor's choice of surgery on gender reassignment, and that the child can be removed from parents if the child wants this surgery. I am wondering on why a child can't buy alcohol or drive a car until they are of legal age or go to an R rated movie (based mostly on maturity), but they don't have to wait until 18 to make their life changing gender altering decision. No going back if they decide early. What a world.

People with uterus’s can give birth, some people have a uterus and identify as a man. How hard is that to comprehend? When will these people get it through their thick skulls that when we talk about pregnant men we're talking about trans men? They don't understand that unlike them we don't see trans women as men. Obviously AMAB people can't give birth (yet), but trans men absolutely can. Gender Identity is in your head. It's influenced by culture, societal constructs, and physiology, but it is simply what a person most strongly identifies with. Sex is in your pants and your chromosomes (among other places), it is a collection of physiological traits. It's not hard to understand that someone's Gender identity may be different from their sex characteristics. Good point!

Someone needs to tell this freak that nothing here is funny. This is ridiculous and dangerous that this would ever be talked about at this level, but lets get it out of the way and shut it down. Protect these kids at all costs. Either way were watching a movie and the military is teaching us a very good lesson, and were not even at the scary stuff yet. God bless our troops.

So sad, I have three boys, I feel so sorry for them, there getting married within the next few years ,god bless them and there babies/ kids United States is doomed, my father fault for this country in World War Two in the navy ,poor man is looking down and probably crying what a disgrace!
