New intro concept: Mario and Luigi are on the SM3DW desert and slide down a hill. After the slide, they find two blocks, they both ground pound them, and the "SMASHY" pops out. If anyone doesnt like this idea, tell me your suggestions in the replies

I think if you run and spin-jump, both moves are combined and you can jump even higher!

I didn't know Mario had a Shelmet. I wonder what Pokeball he caught it in.

Man it's just so cool how much effort and detail Nintendo puts into the physics and controls of any Mario game.

Idk about that dashpad one. It looks like you just got briefly airborne and turned while in the air. You can turn around in the air after leaving a dashpad, so that's how it worked. But you didn't actually turn around on the dashpad.

But technically if the dashpad leads smackdab into a wall or spring then maybe you could turn around so technically yes you can turn around on a dashpad.

Nothing could happen if we talk about normal pipes since the timer always freezes when Mario is inside a pipe. But when Mario is inside a glass pipe in SM3DW, the timer doesn't freeze, so I'm very curious of that!

4:34 That's a known mechanic. I believe it's been true ever since spike tops were first introduced. 5:45 To do so on dash pads that are out in the open like yours is extremely hard but doable. If you've been dash-padded into a wall, you can turn around.
