Gotta agree, probably the weakest cup of the back half of the DLC. Unfortunate. Can’t quite put my finger on it, but I think they made the remakes a little too faithful for Sunset Wilds (especially for how high GBA remake standards we have due to Ribbon Road and Cheese Land) and even Koopa Cape to an extent. Vancouver Velocity, though, really gorgeous, but with winter night themes, that’s a 100% guarantee!

The Cherry Cup doesn't seem to have as much work put in to it as some of the more recent cups to me. Sunset Wilds is missing it's main aesthetic appeal that even a GBA was able to capture and Koopa Cape is missing quite a bit too! the lightning things as well as the water stream from the Wii and 3DS are missing, and the cool Pipe transition seems to be missing too, replaced with a pretty janky jump instead. The 3rd lap of Los Angeles Laps always felt odd to me, you have a mostly decent course for the first 2 laps and then it just becomes so much worse in lap 3! Doesn't help that the oil rigs look bad imo. Vancouver Velocity is pretty good.
