Judging by its attributes, shape, and characteristics, I'm guessing this is an Estwing....a very reliable hatchet. Great effort in restoration.

Hey there, Lost & Restored, Ash Williams here-you might know me as the guy who's been chainsawing and shotgunning his way through hordes of Deadites. I've seen some messed-up stuff, pal, but watching you restore that rusty hatchet? Groovy. Look, a guy like me knows the value of a sharp blade, especially when you've got all sorts of evil breathing down your neck. You took that hunk of junk and turned it into something straight out of a hero's arsenal. The rust? Gone. The blade? Shiny and sharp enough to split a hair. And that handle? Quality craftsmanship, buddy. I gotta say, watching you chip away at that decay was like watching a surgeon-if that surgeon was also a lumberjack and a blacksmith rolled into one. It's the kind of precision you'd want when you're up against the forces of darkness, trust me on that. So here's to you, man. If you ever wanna team up and make, I don't know, a chainsaw-hand attachment or something, give me a call. Until then, keep doing what you're doing. And remember: Shop smart, shop S-Mart. Hail to the king, baby. Ash 🤘🔥

Wonderful restoration. Somewhere in the woods on the farm in Alabama is my lost hatchet, more than likely in the same condition. I hope I can restore it that well when it is found.

Ive restored a few of those old Bridgeport, Conn hatchets. Quite a few of them were marked for the BSA (Boy Scouts of America). Most of them though Ive had used plastic inserts in the handle which are a bugger to find. I appreciated your method of using punched leather. Well done.

Hey, lost and restored I have a big Bowie knife that needs a new handle, it’s like the knife from Inglourious Basterds. I would like a coffin shaped handle on it. Let me know if I could send it to you and hopefully you do a video. Thank you.
