Like everything but the Green
The tear drop hole in the shaft is also for removing nails.

Thanks, @AndrewSmith-zi8wf, but most of us knew that already!
I've had this in my tool box for over 30 years..Chinese label..."Great Wall" The first time I saw one of these was in the 1948 movie.."Abbott & Costello meet Frankenstein" Costello was opening a crate that contained Draculas Coffin....=))
اكثر طبر كان متوفر في الثمانينات والتسعينات في العراق شكرا على الذكريات والعمل المتقن تحياتي
Best shade of green ever
Did you see the way she effortlessly broke those new scale pins . incredible!!
Just love that color John Deer Green.
Awesome Restore!!!! 😮😮😮
For a second I totally believed you braking the steel pins with your hands 😂
It’s one of best hammer/hatchet re-model that I’ve had seen on KZread! Very cool tool 🔨🪓 Marvelous Creator/Toolmaker!!!! 👍
C O O L !!
MASTERPIECE!
Nice! All it's missing now is a John Deere logo:D
🪓🪓🪓🪓 Wow! Great! Good job!
You gave it decades more useful life, like you always do. We should all be so lucky. Nice work.
That’s a great tool wasn’t in that bad of shape & it looks great now g thanks for sharing it with us all the best to ya 😊
....LOOKIN' GOOD, NICE WORK, KEEP WELL...
I was using that exact same axe to cut wood 30yr ago, when I was 5yo. My mother saw it as punishment. I saw it as fun. Remember one day, I filled bins, and half the garden before she stopped me. After that,I had to beg to chop wood.
this lady is an artist with her hammer - any hammer. a skill a lot of people don't have. Also love her artistic flair with the paint colors. Keep it up!

@steve.b.23 yes a rotund woman. Bet you'll stop watching now because the idea of a woman doing this work is off putting to you.

Hello mister beautiful axe beautiful restoration good job well done
Beautiful restoration.😄😄
That logo is for Diamond brand. They made lots of crate-opening tools. Great job.
Lovely job, thanks for sharing.
Wow it came out superb. Well done. And yes, I saw the new life given to the electric fence control and it looks great.
Awesome work.
Awesome restore!
“It’s perfect”
Cool as always 👍👍👍😎😎😎
I always enjoyed your creativity both in restoration and video graphics
Haha awesome. I found this exact tool in my backyard soil last year. Currently plan to fix it up. Absolutely uncanny Level of rust and wood condition
Fantástico Magnifico trabalho
woah!
Beautiful job, it looks great!
Very awesome restoration. Turned out fantastic
Nothing fancy here.... Just a finely detailed working man's tool. Well done, as always!
mam taki na działce.. ma już ponad trzy dekady a dalej jest w świetnym stanie...
👍👍
How many times you need when you doing a électrolyse ?
Did you throw the hatchet or what I noticed the note
Awesome Hammer/Hatchet ....don't like the green paint. Makes it more a show piece, not a working piece.
Doskonałe narzędzie dla Robinsona Crusoe.
👍👍👍
Those "Skatchets" were marketed in Hunting/Fishing magazines, among other places. I don't think that is a casting. It's more likely a very quick forging.
Nice restoration, but that is not an antique hammer/hatcher multi tool. That is a drywallers hammer still bought as used today.
Flea market, why did you stop explaining where you got your things?
It is a roofing hammer for shingles
👏👏👍👍
👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍
It's a slate roofers tool.
I think its from germany circa ww2 as for company I can't find that info online
Hello
Not feeling the green
Has anyone told you that your Magic is better than David Copperfield 😂😅👍👊
У мене є один із них, але мені подобається залишати його іржавим, на мою думку, він виглядає краще
"Crate tool"
Not antique, chinese junk stores sell these! Flea markets always have boxes of this stuff
Nice work but just another repair and modification channel. No restoration here.
That's no antique
Not a restoration , he just cleaned it
What kind of die grinder is that? The gold one
За такую похабную работу, только 👎
