I dont even like apple at all, would never use any of their crap, but l can see why it appeals to many. honestly they should stop including their crappy wired earbuds as well, which are also left in the box... I don't like airpods or apple, at all, but it's not about not wanting you in there, they were designed to be small, water resistant in general just convenient, although I am sure apple likes the side effect of those not being repairable.. if they were, apple would for sure soft block these on their phones, when a non genuine part² is detected. __ ²apple works very hard to make sure their spare parts are not provided to everyone not authorized for repairs and even if authorized you still need proof that you are ordering the part to fix a phone, not resell the part. I have replaced the battery in someones iphone 6s, and while it was easy, that has disabled touchid.. which makes zero sense, as the touch id was never touched, it's just apple being assholes as they are.

These are an improvement over the 1st gen buds. kzread.infoUgkxK5mc3yw4xA7Mf2j6k6n1Uqv_KUgrKdeM Pros: The fit is fantastic. This is the biggest plus. They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.

Wow, I had never seen an airpods repair video, and I definitely see why now. I see a lot of people saying that it should be more repairable in the comments. While I think right to repair is good, I find that implementing such features on the airpods would be more difficult considering its form factor, minimalis design, and size. What could could realistically be done to make the airpods easier to work with while preserving these qualities? Great video btw!:)

This. I looked for someone to say that. Repairability at this scale is close to unrealistic

Hey so I’m curious, I do repairs on stuff but wanna do custom back glasses for phones as well as removals of back glasses do you suggest using laser tools for this? And if so do you have any specific machine suggestion? Im new to that side of phone repairs and was wondering if you had any suggestions

The insert pops out much easier when you soak some isopropyl alcohol into the joint, it softens the adhesive spots on the clips, you need it for the battery adhesive in any case.

these are probably his, or given to him and the video is probably merely him challenging himself to try to repair it... I would do the same, just to see if I can do it, if I am ever given a dead pair of asspods and if I succeed I would just give them back or destroy them because I would never use it.
