Did this before watching and got 9109. I had better coverage in some of your gaps, but I know very little Russia. Had a very similar gap in Poland because I couldn't remember Poznań either, and couldn't think of anywhere on Sardinia or Crete. The Romanian city you were trying to remember is Timișoara. Very good job though.

Vík is too small for this mode. In Iceland, besides Reykjavík, you should try Akureyri, the only 10k+ city that is not in the capital region.

It only picks up cities larger than X amount of inhabitants so that should probably be why it didn't reveal cities you knew but didn't help out.
