Iron Knob is my superhero name. Also, most of my knowledge of Australian cities (I'm American) originally came from my unnatural love for the band Midnight Oil. So I know the names of a bunch of tiny aboriginal towns that Peter Garrett was trying to help. :)

These place names are pretty interesting and entertaining I must say. Hope you do more of these

Always love the Bendigo name drop (also the south east part of vic you were missing was lakes entrance, as for north west theres so many small towns in the mallee region I could name but I reckon warracknabeal or ouyen/patche would plug that gap the best)

Nice job, I managed to get 1540 which I was pretty happy with although it was mostly a Victoria + pacific coast carry with an abysmal showing in SA and WA haha

Somewhat unrelated, would you say that Australia has different "accents" within it? I would imagine that people from the Perth area might pronounce words differently than the Eastern parts, given the isolation but I could be wrong.

accents in australia tend to be more divided on class than geography that being said there is definitely a queensland accent and some other parts have slight ones

Why don't the hugequiz players take things logically and start with the biggest and/or more famous cities? They have many other 'lesser' cities around them. It would drastically raise the number of cities scored. Only then look for ones which will have few cities inside the circle/latitude/longitude. Most of the population and cities are along Australia's coastline. Get those first and only then worry about those scattered in the interior
