Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This KZread channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.
If you enjoy the channel make sure you hit subscribe and also tap the notification bell so that you are always notified when I release a new video.

The speed on Tommy’s putts is unbelievable. He put every ball 6 inches past the hole with a rental putter he’d never used before. Stress free two putts are such a game changer, even the best putters miss a couple 3 or 4 footers every once in a while so eliminating that from your game is massive.

You're a beast man! To this day, your content is untouchable and by far the best on KZread, but you got this man!! Keep your head up after bad shots and "vision" a good shot before stepping over the ball. You told me that sometime last year and ever since I think about it before every single golf shot I hit. Love you man!!

The matches and and constraints for each each competition video are first rate and showcase the skill and positivity of a tour player as they approach each shot. Honestly it just made me realize that Rick isn't that good LMAO. I've been bingeing a few of his videos now and his short game is remarkably poor for being a "pro". Especially at the end there - not being able to make a bogey on the final hole to win the match is just embarrassing. Still, he played well. But I don't think his play earns him the "pro" title as much as his knowledge does.

@@rishabhsharma5610 I think one key thing you’re missing is the difficulty of the course. An average player like myself would struggle to break 100 I’m sure, whereas on my local courses I carry give or take a 13 handicap averaging 85-86 strokes. Rick wasn’t going to bring a top 50 player like Tommy to an average run of the mill public course. An 82 is still remarkable at places like this, as some pros shoot even worse on some days. Just food for thought. Also this guy is top 50. There’s a reason for that, obviously Rick is worthy of being on tour. But he won’t be top 50 right now as that’s just a whole other level of play.

This video encompasses EVERYTHING that we love about the game. The internal challenges, overcoming adversity and true sportsmanship. Classy move by Tommy participating, he seems like a really down to earth pro. Well played both!

It amazes me how good Tommy and all other pros are at putting. Even a "bad" roll only ends up two feet past the hole from anywhere on the green.

Yeah that’s the huge difference - his distance control on the greens whereas mine go 10ft past the hole and then I’m happy with a double bogey!

Absolute joy to watch, Tommy is a class act. Putting is other-worldly, even when they're not going in they're so damn close. Amazing to see the difference between somebody who's better than 99.9% of people, and the truly elite. Shame you can't wrangle him into doing lots more content - excellent video, thanks!
