Maybe a good addition is to add some more 'eye candy' on the side other than just the death counter. Maybe something like level limits, as I wasn't aware of them during the video and had to guess what they were, and maybe what badges you already have and which ones you still need(and maybe even their ace with the gen 5 moving sprite just as a nice little bonus). For the rest, good job! really nice video!

Might just be a me thing but I usually listen to these videos in the background instead of watching em so it's possible that a good handful don't even notice

That was an amazing run! This honestly felt like I'm watching an EK run but on Renegade Platinum with all of the crazy strats and the abuse of the AI. Honestly I would also love more AI videos, as they are invaluable to helping people improve in their nuzlockes

I jumped from oldschool pkmn games straight to this hack... Boy oh boy... I studied stats, abilities and movesets like crazy. This was such a blast playing this game for the first time. And actually using all this wierd moves and not just spamming strong stab moves like in old school titles. Nothing like getting bullied by Bounce Politoed xd

i went from the cartridge games to drayano hacks.. i probably put a good couple hundred hours into fire red omega before playing his ds hacks. then it was radical red, inc emerald, which i probably have another good couple hundred hours in together. playing insurgence on hard mode for the first time, the game doesnt give u much to grind with and the enemy movesets are brutal early. i wish gamefreak would include some kind of difficulty spike options in their games. id buy a switch

Underrated nuzlocker. I wish I had started watching your videos sooner. Love the explanations and all the extra info on screen. Also the editing style with the critical hit/faint fake outs is funny

7:20 Shell armor Shellder in 205 old rod ->level 33 ->water stone -> spam iron defense on drapion -> win the battle of attrition with ice beam so long as you dont get poisoned, even then it's probably pretty safe. Not available in this run but it also works

What a cool run! Made me think about doing a run without using the mart. (Limited pokeballs, healing items for gauntlets, etc.) Would be pretty game dependent as to how much of a challenge/fun it would be.

23:57 the doc is wrong about some base powers. It lists Body Slam as 128 base power when it should be 127. 85*1.5 is 127.5, and base power is always rounded down. A very common example is Knock Off being 97 base power when knocking an item, not 98.

Also your Sceptile missed the kill on the Alakazam possibly because of its nature. I dunno if you accounted for the variations in nature it could have; Saturn is one of the trainers with random natures. If Zam was +DEF or +HP, that might have enabled a roll you could have missed the kill on that your calcs couldn't catch

One question where do you guys get All the trainiere Information like stats and nature from the enemies. I want to Do a nuzlock myself and looked for them but dont seem to find a list or something but it's Kind of hard to just gues what the stats could be

So I know they weren't available, but i wanted to point out Bastiodon has a very robust special move pool. Pretty much all the great moves, it learns. again, i know you didn't have them but i got love for Bastiodon. Great wall against Ghetsis at the end of Volt White/Blaze Black for the Genesect, and 2HKOs with flamethrower

Bro, the Lapras strategy against Vaporeon, for some reason, reminded me of how much I used Thick Fat Azumarill of all things as one of the best pivots in my Platinum hardcore nuzlocke. I would've used it to bait elemental fangs and punches from Volkner's Electivire and Shinx if it didn't die at Cyrus. I probably got reminded of it because it always took so little damage like your Lapras against the Vaporeon

Thick Fat Azumarill is useless cause it already resists the types that Thick Fat negates Huge Power Azumarill all the way please

@@ItsFireTiger calling it useless is just straight up wrong. It may not be a good ability for a water type, but two 4x resists instead of 2x resists means you only take half of the damage you would otherwise. Huge Power is obviously better, no question, but when you don't have the ability to choose, you really start to see Thick Fat as a great pivoting ability. For instance, in Platinum, it in tandem with Umbreon destroys Candice, and, in Emerald, it's one of the only things that can reliably take 2 sun boosted Overheats from Flannery's Torkoal after White Herb. Not even Marshtomp and Tentacool can do that

Rock doesn't resist Bug so it's only a 2x resist and Aero isn't exactly known for its physical bulk (or bulk in general)

Yo Speed Boost Jolly Torchic is pretty nutty

Probably way too late for this to gain any attention but its possible leaf blade didnt kill the Zam because Sceptiles base attack was at its original, not the buffed stat that the calculators use. Ive noticed a glitch in my run of RenPlat where all the buffed stat mons dont actually have the buffed stats, even though im playing on the complete version.
