Just tested it out on Falkner and Bugsy for both Soul Silver and Storm Silver, the AI works as predicted. Though, the AI does awkward switches when put to sleep in both Soul Silver (utilizing HootHoot's hypnosis) and Storm Silver (using Butterfree's Sleep Powder). I'm assuming there is another modifier in there for like a conditional phase 3 when regarding status moves? Maybe it also includes more than status moves like accuracy checks, Screens, etc.?

@@loganlaslo2098 Yes the switch in ai in this video is the same for all gen 4 games. I’m unaware of any rom hack tools that could edit this nor any hacks that have edited how the switch in ai works

Mannat recently made documentation on Move Selection AI for Gen 4 so hopefully, if this statement is true then that documentation would work as well since it was addressed to Renegade Platinum/Platinum. Which I believe is because Platinum Kaizo is coming soon.

Psywave has always been able to hit Dark types, the catch is that the Damage is random (kinda like Magnitude)

This might be a dumb question (noob to emulating), but how do you import any pokemon you want into romhacks or any game in general? They have pwrfect moves and IVs too, is there an app or a website to make it easy for importing?

Depends on the game. Pkhax works for most games. Run&Bun and others have lua scripts, CK+ has a website where you drag the save, and other romhacks don’t have exports

Gian did. I didn’t go over it in the video but there were 3 “punish picks” for top tier pokemon in starmie heracross and Jolteon. If you draft one of those you miss your next pick so it didn’t go for a while

basically snorlax has a really limited moveset perCK+ nerfs. best normal stab is headbutt and you only get one EQ tm in the game. its def not bad cause it can rest talk through a lot of special attackers but its not always reliable. Funnily its really hard to get in normal HC nuzlockes but its not even worth by that point of the game
