the plays he does are so well done like hes done each a million times not sure how he wasnt in the scene years ago must of been a freestyler that realized his comp potential but hes insane im an awe watching this.

Dark has such a good mix up it’s insane, constantly switches up kickoffs, shot types, fakes

I love that Dark fakes the pogo and turns it into fast catch and flip sometimes. Since the pogo is slow the fast catch can really throw you off. Very smart.

I do not think it was a Fake it went of celling and bounced of it, probably thats why he tryd to keep the ball by himself while he was in weird position for pogo and it took to long time and he could have been challenge at any moment.

Man, I didn't realize how much I missed watching khalid play! He's amazing

oKhalid is such a precise player, he has flashy mechanics but shows that you don't need to use them to play at the highest level. Bounce dribbles for days

@@fknGandalf yea not flashy, but good enough to keep up and with his brain it’s dominant, I’ve seen more mechanical players in gc2 but mechs aren’t all you need and Khalid proves it

i would say that people always lose the first games against him because the play style is different but I'm sure khalid would dominate in a show match.

Man oh man he actually got the pogo attempt off just didn't score it, just watched his showmatch on Johnny's channel earlier today and saw that he doesn't just use it to score but to outplay too and then score because recoveries are just there now.

The last frame with Dark's car over oKhalid's is symbolic of the new age overtaking the pioneers imo. I'm sure Dark was heavily inspired by Okhalid, the Middle Eastern Giant.

oKhalid needs to implement some sort of speedy unorthodox playstyle here and there, he is a bit too focus on control which everyone is predicting. Be unpredictable even if it cost you some control loss ( obviously try to minimize that control loss by for example recoveries and etc ). I'm saying this because he can elevate even more.

I clicked this expecting an easy okhalid win given his reputation but hats off to this kid

Would you be open to showing the opposing players pov of each goal before the next kickoff? Not sure if anyone's requested that yet but I think it would add to your content. Thanks regardless

Certainly worthwhile on the more interesting goals! I do that for showmatches, always swapping on the replay. But replay reviews don't play the goal twice naturally. Maybe I could force it though in the future!

@@Feer for sure, only on the goals worth another look. I watch the show matches too, this may give the ranked replay a little more showmatchy feel. Keep it up, you're becoming my favorite caster!

I just...hmm I don't see him going all the way in a series against highly analytical players like appjack or Khalid. His playstyle is while very cool and new is also extremely unrefined. Which in a weird way I think gives it an edge over players like khalid and appjack but only for the first few turns. After that I reckon he will be solved pretty fast and will probably have to adapt or upgrade his play if he wants to remain at this level but I mean who knows?

nah did you see the way he switches things up, the reason the pogos are so powerful is that at any time during the set up he can just flip reset. Makes challenging them ridiculously hard

@@scorch1624 If you watched his recent series on Johnny's channel against Ashllxy, he (Dark) showed different styles and ways of scoring, mixed up his offense and defence, and overall looked like a good 1s player

Dark is nuts, he is really amazing and will only grow more and more. Certain stuff he does are nuts, but there are times when he does questionable commits and in fact gets scored on, once he will fix that i think he'll be the perfect player

Does anyone know how not to get in noob lobbies in casual matches when I play casuals I play with noobs and bots so does anyone know how to get in lobby’s with pretty good players

never seen this dark, I've not followed RL or rlcs for a good amount of time so only knew okhalid, let me tell you the mechanics coming from dark are out of this world, I think that if he has the ball and a bit of space it's out of your control whether you save it or not, so lethal in 1s that you simply have to trust he's not going to make his best shot because if he does there is no way you save it, he's always faking and doesn't let you understand shit. That is a freaking good player.

I think slowly ground players are getting pushed out in today’s meta I think the aerial game and mechanics are important I think just having grounded play style is not effective anymore like okhalid

@@donyxd3365 joreuz never been more 1s focus then this b4 for me he fell off long time ago he is just not showing it by not playing the game mode until Gamers 8 where he got exposed. compared to okhalid only lost to the top 1s and he's not on the grind anymore plus ping disadvantage become more noticeable the higher the skill ceiling goes
