    I gotta say game 4 and game 5 are some of the most intense, and highest level of 1v1 I've ever seen. And I'm watching everything 1v1 for years now. You could say there's a few mistakes, but the pressure from both players is so extremely high throughout these games, it's hard to find other games that compare. I've seen high mechanical games, high scoring games, but if I would point to the highest level of RL itself, without fancy stuff, and if both players are good (not just one getting stomped but both are showing up), then game 4 or 5 should probably belong in a top 10 list, if not at least top 20 Okhalid, my old guru, beautiful to watch. Joreuz always looking scary, thought it wouldn't be this close before watching.

    Khalid still got it! He is still a monster but he really needs to step up his aerial game and be more risk taker! That's exactly what Rw9 has been doing. He's like Khalid in a more aggressive style with more aerial game.

    Also, his kickoffs need to improve too. I am absolutely sure that he doesn't need to change anything about his kickoffs with any other player, unless he is playing against Rw9, Trk and Mawkzy. I can't believe that a player his caliber still hasn't learnt/or rather use Wavedash recovery kickoffs. If you see his gameplay against Mawkzy and Rw9 in the recent past, you will see he is very weak against their kickoffs, cause he has fewer options. Also, he almost never even fakes a kickoff, that's just not gonna cut it nowadays, it's very difficult to counter this kickoff merchant players with just the standard version. I have no reason to believe he can't UP his aerial game just because he isn't a 17 year old anymore. I mean, look at appjack, he has become a lot more mechanical in 1v1 nowadays, and that in the just last 4-5 months. It's definitely possible, but he needs to just decide to experiment with his 1v1 playstyle a little more, AND DECIDE TO STICK WITH THE NEW PLAYSTYLE and keep improving it more, rather than simply reverting back to the old one.

    @@stranger16luis71 It's like what Johnny says "I wish Khalid would just go sometimes" it just seems like his confidence is not very high and he just keeps going for 50s, at the end of the day he is not actually playing safe because if he doesn't absolutely crush the 50/50 he will probably end up with no momentum, low on boost and the opposing player with possession, which more often then not turns into a counter attack.

  • @stranger16luis71

    @stranger16luis71

    @@Haki145 True, he rarely commits fully, and when he does, a lot of the times he misses cause he isn't used to commit more often, his recoveries are good but not good enough to make up for lost aerial high-risk attacks. Problem is, even though his 50/50 games is awesome, he won't win majority of them against the likes of Trk and Rw9 or nowadays against Appjack unless those 3 are having a bad day at the office. It's nothing crazy, he just needs to change his gameplay by just about 5%, he can do all those things in 2v2 and 3v3, just need to incorporate them more into 1v1, and over time the confidence and the ability to deal with failed attempts with even quicker recoveries will improve too. I've been a great fan of OKhalid for a long time, and I've noticed 3 weakness, that are very noticeable in the recent meta, specially in 2022: 1. Aerial Attacks (Not taking enough risks in this department) 2. Not having many variations in kickoffs. 3. Not having very solid flicks, his are decent, but nowhere near Mawkzy, Rw9, Azapatos level (although, it's not entirely necessary to be a great flicker, cause he is a master in bounce dribbling) I think he just needs to be willing to change. Out of all the players he just seems way too adamant about playing with his old original style. Even Flakes takes a lot more chances than he does, at least with kickoffs. I am just gc2, barely. Even I do wavedash recovery kickoffs, and many in my ranks nowadays does it too. It's been a meta for over a year now. For someone like him to learn and master this strat, he will mostly need like 4 days. 1st day to learn the basics, 2nd day to become quite good, on the 3rd day almost an expert and by the 4th day, pretty much ready to do it in a showmatch. He can definitely become just as good as Rw9 and TRK in 1v1 pretty quickly, if he is just willing to change it up a bit. It's just my opinion anyway.

    Hey Feer, just wanted to a suggestion. Could you make all of the 1v1 videos an equal length to avoid spoilers? For example, all 1v1 games are 45 minutes long (even if they ended earlier) so that as we, the viewer, watches the game, we can’t assume who the winner of the match is just based off the remaining time left in the video. Similar to what the RLCS KZread account does. They set all of their videos to 1hr and 30 minutes to avoid spoilers.

    it essentially adds dead length to the video, which will then not be recommended by youtube because of poor viewership statistics in those portions.
