    2 of the most entertaining 1’s players currently, maybe even the top 2. The pace they play is different class and the fact they’re changing the plays they make right up to the last second must take so much concentration. Nwpo was different in this particular showmatch though, dark couldn’t keep up.

    Random one but I think players participating in 1v1 showmatches shouldn't be allowed to log into Twitch while playing or have contact with anyone. If they're on a call with a friend who is watching the game live, their friend could give them tips that otherwise would've been overlooked by the player. If the player is watching the game on Twitch while playing, they will be getting free tips from the commentator and chat. Not fair on the other player, who might no be doing the same.

  • @Official_Solok

    @Official_Solok

    I mean, its not possible to really check that...? Either way, its fair advantage to any player, since both can listen and also adapt to the change real time. And this is high tier play. I doubt the players themselves would not figure out anything jonny would figure out. Considering they have sooo much more game hours compared to him. So it doesn't matter. Also, except for a few players, I think top tier players fully focus, thus not listening to external sounds the whole match or talking as it is a distraction which they rather not take. Unless a goal has been scored probably. But really, why would they need to get tips from others? It's just mainly gonna be "your kickoff needs to be more X positioned", "You're doing this too much", "Your rotation is off". Honestly, I personally cannot figure out anything they wouldn't know of within the first few milliseconds of the issue happening. The only advantage they could probably get, is an external view of an another pro player giving them advice on how to break down the other player. But the helper would need to be a leaderboard ranking player in 1's. But than again, these guys are the best of the best so I wouldn't see why they would need external help... - personal opinion. feel free to flame me if this just doesn't make sense.

    @@Official_Solok True, I guess it's fair if both players have access to listen in. Yeah, I was stumped when it came to monitoring this, not sure how they'd do it anyway. There are players that have been caught by the same play over and over and haven't noticed why it was happening (was watching a game like this the other day) and they were on a call with a mate apparently, which is why I posted this comment. Just thought in some scenarios it might be an advantage, so rather avoid it altogether and prohibit it. I dunno, maybe just looked into it a bit too hard.

    @@darylsteenkamp You have a great point! Don't discourage your point like that! I actually agree with you but I don't see why it should be implemented. We are humans. We make mistake no matter what, even if we are the 0.000001% of the player base interm of skills. So your point is 100% valid. The thing is, this is high tier play where the players can adapt on the spot. By high tier, I don't mean like leaderboard level. Im talking about if you named top 10 players, or top 5, these guys are probably in the list typa players. But at the same time, both parties have equal chances to cheat by getting on a VC with someone, and unless someone snitches, its not possible to capture them.

    Preference. For example, I prefer playing orange on champions field, because there's a little camera drone outside the cage that flies around. When I'm on blue side, it sometimes tricks me into thinking there's an orange car for a split second. When I'm on orange, it blends in.

  • @Official_Solok

    @Official_Solok

    Жыл бұрын

    Not really... I mean sure, you need to have talent. But even with talent / gift, you cannot do this without absolute dedication into your craft. In this case, is competitive play or freestyling. If you can effectively spend not 10 hours, but 5 hours every single day minimum. You will achieve consistency. Consistency leads to getting better at other mechanics or play faster. This leads to an overwhelming improvement curve until you stop consistently grinding. You might feel like your not improving. If you stop consistently playing (which lets be honest, 99% of playerbase do in any game). But you actually are improving. Just ask someone you play with and they will also say "Woah your getting better". Personally, to be their level, I feel like its not talent, but pure determination and dedication into mastering their muscle memory & game sense to this point. edit: To be honest, this is why I feel like professional players are the top 0.1% or more rare and not at like 2% or 1% of the player base.
