Some of that is due to him taking an eternity to do his hand cutting animation which is built into the character. He'd still be weak without that, but often it leads to him going down way fast

Malenia's lifesteal really comes into its own when facing mobs, because she heals off every single one she hits with Waterfowl Dance.

I think her rather BS hyper armor is also to blame, she's the only humanoid enemy of her size to get hyper armor on every single animation save for her grab and quick flurry (the one where the blade sparks visibly beforehand as a tell). You really start to hate it once you start using weapons and spells that always stagger or interrupt other enemies in her metaphorical "weigh class". She can just decide to start an attack or dodge animation and unless she goes for a standard flurry or her grab which she rarely uses she'll simply be immune to stagger for the duration of the animation. For example a fully charged "Aspect of the Crucible: Horns" will stagger even Crucible Knights and Bell-Bearing Hunters out of literally all their attacks (save for the Crucible Tail attack of the Knights, that's their one move with hyper armor). It will also literally launch Malenia sky high if she's not in an animation giving you 3-5 seconds to punish. However, she can just choose to enter an animation and you're essentially screwed. It's an incredibly annoying mechanic.

@@ThatGuyOrby True! The hyper armor and the lifesteal work together; the lifesteal means she doesn't die from pure DPS, and the hyper armor means she doesn't die from getting stunlocked before the lifesteal can kick in properly.

It seems like as long as Radahnn can get his meteor attack off, he’ll always win since the NPCs won’t move out the way.

I was a little worried about Daddy Loux at first, cause most of his big "get off of me" moves are landlocked, but nah, he handled that better than anybody other than Mohg and Radagon. Man really knows how to use that axe.

Gideon lasted way way more than Godrick and that was even before he healed. Awesome.

It is so frustrating seeing rennala win some boss fights but then in stuff like this where keeping distance is paramount, she tries to use her staff as a blunt object, repeatedly too after getting hit.

The bats are lucky to have the advantage of not dying to Rykard's lava. So many other enemies fail because even if they're staggering him, his lava is whittling them down.

I wonder if Mohg would've won if he'd started first phase.

I think so since he's recover from the first poise break in time to Nihil the entire crowd down, plus his phase 1 still has the large sweeping attacks and lingering area damage spells that completely shut down the swarm

This is great representation of what encountering wild Zubats looks like, with the bosses being the Pokemon Trainers.

gideon's fight looks like those scenes in shows/movies where characters get swarmed and eaten by a horde of creature but they dont show it fully

I love how these past few videos you're adding all 15 remembrance bosses alongside some of the more important side bosses like Red Wolf and the Godskin Duo

Please stop doing Gideon dirty. Give him a chance(cut the monologue so my boy can fight)

Honestly Gideon's AI at the start shafts him a lot. Its actually worse than Maliketh at times. If he would have just cast one or two spells at the beginning. He probably would have won.

It would only take 10-15 Farum Eagles to slice up almost every boss.

Looks so satisfying to see all the bats in sync flapping there wings at the start of a fight

These videos are oddly satisfying, Rahdan didint waste anytime calling his nuke in

watching Mohg obliterate the bats was brutal!

The syncronized wing flaps are so satisfying

Seems like every boss with a strong AoE attack poses an unsurmountable barrier to the bats' AI..too bad, but it's fun to see them try anyway :)

Radahn would be such a beast if he hadn't been rotting away for so long. He has scarlet rot, a half dead horse, a back full of what seems to be spears, and he is still fighting like a monster.

Ok Godfrey having to dig his way out of a pile of bodies during his fight was both epic and feels like something that would have been a regular occurrence back in his war days.

Seeing the bosses obliterate weaker enemies and eaving their corpses behind is super satisfying.

Thanks to her invincibility when going into the moon and The fact that all of her spells shred through poise. If you were to make her endgame scale she actually would beat up a lot of enemies . I’m not kidding me the only ones who is Santa chains are probably Maliketh , mogh with nilel and Malenia

I only really had faith on Rykard and Placidusax but I guess any half decent AOE screws the bats over instantly, so long as the boss can't be poise broken out of it (still don't know what they were thinking with the Bidoof Ofnir fight).
