I also had my '21 S2S Serviced this past week at 13k miles. They performed an oil change, checked fluids, and did the brake light recall. I knew it was almost time for a new battery, but thought I could stretch it awhile longer. Well....as the tech hopped on it in the service bay to bring it around to me after completing the service, it wouldn't start! That dang battery died right there in the shop! At least it picked the right place to die! So, I drove off with a brand new 159 buck Yuasa battery. Thank you, Route 1 Motorsports in Grant FL. for the great service!

Living in the Pacific Northwest Sean, Smoke is our go to mechanic he is awesome. He has done great work on all three of our limited Spyders, and he was able to fix my daughters bike when no one else could. He is a great man and a mechanics mechanic!

Hi Coach Bob. Wanted to give you a well earned shout out. After researching for over a year, including watching all your videos on Spyder, I pulled the trigger and bought a '22 RT LTD Sea to Sky. I took the Can Am 3 wheel course and rode Rykers, but felt like I got comfortable riding. When I picked up the RT today, it was my first time on an RT. I really focused on the, "Light Touch" you teach when steering the bike. I got the hang of it in about 10 miles and felt comfortable enough to take it on the freeway. Had a blast. Don't want to think of what my learning curve would have looked like had I not watched your videos over and over. Best wishes to you and Coach Vic.

You explained this to a tee of how my experience was! I too learned on a Ryker but knew I was going to get the rt limited at the very least!! I almost had a sea to sky but I liked the 22 rtl so much more for me :). They really are fun to ride! :)

I have recently rediscovered your youtube channel and love it. I thought you road spiders more than you do. I have a twenty sixteen r t white spider like yours and have replaced the tires at least two or three times. It sounds like you were still on the originals from twenty nineteen.? My mileage is about thirty six thousand miles thus far. I don't know your history for your spider maybe you bought it used. I guess what I don't know is a lot :)

Glad to hear you have a good dealer. My local dealer tried to SCAM me today on what now appears to be a SIMPLE fix. While ryding, the exhaust mount tongs (on the pipe) got pushed back and out from the support bracket on the bike (I can't figure out how), making the muffler drag. Fortunately, I was on the way to the dealer for my "Motorcycle Accident Scene Management" class. I strapped the muffler up and got there on time and turned my 7-month old 23 Spyder RT limited in for service . I got a "it's affecting the control arm...it's all about to fall apart...I need to open up the entire back end of the Spyder....it's a safety issue and we need to keep the bike...blah blah". I'm an engineer, he tried the wrong person to BS. Mufflers are connected to a control arm? When I got home, 5 minutes on my back with a flashlight and some wig'lin revealed the issue. C'mon BRP, make your dealers accountable. GRIZZ

I thoroughly enjoy your page. I pray for you and your family regularly and am trusting God to heal and watch over all of you. Being relatively new to the Ryder family I am somewhat puzzled with your comments about factory recalls? I ride a 2014 Spyder RT. How do I find out if there are any recalls and how do I go about rectifying any of such recalls? OBTW I also enjoy your devotionals… quite enlightening! Blessings.

Ohhhh you should do a video on the best helmets to get. Like are there better helmets out there that don’t fog up? Or do they all do that?

Hey Bob. Words cannot convey how much I LOVE my 24 Sea to Sky. Did you know, according to the manual, two connections must be complete to enable Car Play. Not one, plugging in your phone, as shown on the demonstration video by BRP’s main man but also connecting a communication device from your helmet. I’m still waiting for my Schuberth CS2 gear in the mail but it’s kind of a big deal if someone doesn’t use comm gear or lives in a no helmet state like Utah. Thanks as always.

That is right coach Bob. I took my bike up there. Got the service done and I was very happy with it. They did a good job. I would recommend anyone to go There. Yes they are a little far away, but it will be worth it In the long run.

Love the video. We also love Orion motorsports when we were in town for some service. Being a Full-time RVer I can't say that about all dealers.

You’re lucky to have more choice. Here in New Zealand, we’re losing Can Am road dealers at a frightening rate. At least three dealers have now dropped the road stuff in the last 12 months including the one that actually sold me my RTL. We’re rapidly reaching the point where you’ll be unable to buy a Spyder in NZ.

Traded my 2019 for a 2022. It had 31,000 on it when I traded it. It was a great machine . I had zero problems other than maintenance brakes tires so forth and so on.

Coach, as gorgeous as the ‘24 Spyder is. I just saved myself £8000 (UK) by buying an ex-demo RT Ltd with 750 miles on the clock and adding a CarPlay screen for £170. It’s closer to my hand than the new bikes, is glove friendly and works beautifully. It just proves you do not have to over spend to get the ride that makes you happy. A bit of lateral thinking can do that. Much love to you, Coach Vic and your wonderful family.

I enjoying doing as much "tinkering" as I can on my Spyder, as they are expensive beasts to care for and I knew that when I bought it 👍. Although one needs to know where you personal "limits" are and when you need to see the experts for some serious loving 😁🤪

And I thought of you today. I went out even after asking Siri if it was going to rain today: she told me it’s not going to rain today. The sky told a much different story but I went out anyway and yes I got caught in some drizzle 😭😭😭😭😩😩😩😩. Felt like I was ruining my baby being out in the rain. I kept telling my husband who was riding behind me “we’ll coach bob loves riding in the rain”. 😩😩😩😩😩 😂

@purpleonthree oh I didn’t know it was gonna rain. My best instincts told me it may rain and I was right. I was not happy having her getting rained on believe me! 😂 my husband was laughing at me. And all I kept thinking was well coach bob loves riding in the rain GRRRRR!!! I felt like I was ruining her 😂

HAd my service done and recall work last summer. Did not get to ride much last summer maybe 500 miles. I barely have 10,000 mile on my 2019 F3 limited. Looking at the 2024 F3 Limited Special.

Still need my sprocket changed and realized yesterday that I already put 6,000 miles on my Spyder. I also need an oil change. Would you change oil yourself or have the dealer do it while it's in there?

Hi Bob, I have a Can Am Rt limited 2015 , I noticed my idle when am at a stop goes low, and at one point it shut down, it started up , but I had to keep revving it a bit while on a stop . Before I take it to a shop, can you give me an idea what you think it could be??

Love my ryker , but after 10 k in less than a year, she sits in the shop for a leak in the final drive unit, been there before Xmas till now

Hey Coach Bob! How tall are you and how tall is the windshield you are using? I think I would like a taller one on my 22 Spyder, but just gathering all of the info I can since everyone is very proud pricewise of their product and I only plan to buy one windshield. There is no way to test them all, then buy one. Thanks in advance for your reply!

I am 6’2” tall with a 34” inseam. So, I’m long waisted and sit quite tall. On the RT, I find the windshield pushed the wind over my head with no buffeting. I hope this helps. 👍👍👍
