We found it a bit odd that the Can-Am Ryker didn't have any way to initiate the Hazard Lights while rolling in a forward motion. In fact, the only way to initiate them was to put the transmission in the reverse gear with the engine off. Hazard lights are often used while moving forward to notify surrounding motorists of an upcoming traffic hazard requiring unusual care in approaching, overtaking or passing. Since a hazard switch did not exist on the Ryker, we partnered up with the guys over at Hypnotic Concepts to create one. This kit is 100% Plug N' Play and even includes a handlebar accessory mount to house the on/off switch.

It is ridiculous that the rykers in New Zealand have an emergency hazard light button on the left hand grip cluster, but the US market get screwed to cut costs. I'm glad that slingmods offers this since BRP/canam are too cheap to give the EOM flasher kit to the US market. I have the front fender turn signal kit installed on my ryker. I do like that the front fender turn signal kit also activated with this flasher kit.

I'm glad they came out with this now I have to get them.

How can I purchase the one in this video as I have a docking station and a 2022 with limited space. I need this particular one, please advise?

I have your LED replacement lights with the fans on them. It was everything I could do to get everything crammed in behind the ballast on the left side. How in the WORLD are we suppose to to fit those and the harness piece behind there?

Some customers loosen the headlight assembly to gain easier access. We however installed ours with the headlight assembly in place.
Any way to mount the button other than with the accessory bracket?

Yes. We actually just got a new batch of these and the accessory bracket is no longer included. It now includes a super clean round handlebar clamp to house the switch. I'll be updating the website here shortly to reflect these changes.
Very cool! Would this work with the JBL accessory ports?

Hello Eeyore, do you mean will this hazard light switch fit in one of the unused holes in the brackets that come with our JBL Kit? If so.. you'll have to use a stepper drill bit to widen up one of those unused accessory holes, as the holes on that bracket system are a bit too small to house this hazard switch. Thanks!

@@Slingmods cool! Thanks! I had to widen some of the holes when I replaced the handlebars with some can am renegade/outlander bars to reposition the speakers. Easy enough metal to drill though.
Why do you guys show this model, but on your site you get the model with the handlebar mount?

When we launched the product it came with the mount shown in the video. It's since been updated to a newer version that includes a handlebar clamp style mount.
They may have some protection, some carbon sticker, plastic always get dirty from shoes
can you mount the hazard switch to the gps/dual usb charger bracket setup?

Hello John, the hazard switch design is actually changing up this week. It'll no longer include that handlebar bracket, but instead come with an aluminum mount that wraps around the handlebar. We'll be posting updated pics here next week when the shipment lands.

@@Slingmods I don't want the Gen 2 as I have handlebar brackets already on my bike and I wouldn't have space for something else on my handlebar, I have a 2022 Ryker Rally 900. How can I purchase the one in this video?

@@Slingmods not just the bracket, I need the hazard switch as well for the Gen 1, I don't have space on my handlebar for the Gen 2 as I already have a docking station so I just need the Gen 1 hazard switch

@@feliciathompson2784 Ah okay, I misunderstood. I spoke with the MFG and they said they can make a Gen 1 switch for you. Are you using our docking station? If so, the hole in that docking station may need to be drilled out slightly to fit the Gen 1 hazard switch. Let me know! Thank you.
