CAN AM MAVERICK X3 RIDE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
In this video I demonstrate how to set your ride height with an aftermarket dual rate spring kit on a Can Am Maverick X3. The same basic procedures are still relevant to any UTV using a dual rate spring set up. So there is still some good relevant information you can gain no matter what machine you drive.
Note: This is just one variation on setting ride height, and we will not be following the factory settings procedure, or the Fox Race Tune procedure.

Thanks man. I will keep em coming. No real method to the madness, just filming whatever I happen to be doing at the time. Too bad I didn't start 2 years ago!
Great job and thank you for making it simple for a “bubba” like me. Keep the tutorials and videos like this coming.

Thanks guys👍. Just wish it wasn't one of my first video attempts and not on a front porch! I could definitely do a little better now haha. Quite a learning curve making vids. Not as easy as it looks.
I bent a rod my 1st time out, because I didn't do this tune. Lesson learned.

Sometimes we learn the hard way. But breaking stuff is not uncommon lol. Happens...
What was the measurement from to of the shock the the first locking nut? Please and thank you.

I think I mentioned it in that video. But yours is not likely going to be exactly the same as mine. You just do what you have to do to get the desired rude height.
The front preload compress 1"=1/2 increase of height

On stock springs perhaps. Not that its written in stone, but Shock Therapies springs it's approximately the opposite. Just a general rule of thumb for a starting point. Either way, do what you gotta do to get the ride height you want👍.

1/2 spring compression = 1" of ride height. Correct my friend.
Did this adjustment make the car ride a much rougher
arent your front shock resiviors supposed to be on the inside? that's how mine came stock. am I missing something?

People flip the shocks to give it a cooler look...You have to trim the inside of the plastic where the shock comes through or else it will rub hard when your shocks compress while drivin
