@Indusvalley What hypocrisy is this? Hinduism started the disease called Casteism which is still widespread. Casteism had divided people unlike ever before, that's the reason that despite having all the natural resources,India is still a poor country even today because there is no unity between people divided by caste. And you are asking to thank Hinduism for all this!

I am a Catholic and I married a Sikh and have three children who are catholics,I had no trouble with my husbands family and I absolutely adored my mother-in-law,the Sikh religion is very similar to Catholicism in their teaching.

really : so where does sikhi say you can get sins absolved by a human ? where does it say that staying unmarried or celibate makes one person more holy? why couldn't your kids be sikhs (yes I know about the enforced promise to bring them up in catholic church if marrying out) sikhi is purely free choice.. where is the priesthood - no granthis are just sikhs ? you should learn about sikhi from basics of SIkhi, nanak naam, sikh2inspire and actually know just how you can improve your life... maybe even know more about sikhi than your family members. Good luck , My in-laws are catholics and no my husband would never ever equate the two , he said his kids would be better christians as sikhs and thus they are

ana hernandez no ma'am if I'm pure sikh then I have to marry with a sikh girl whatever she's belonging to Christian Chinese hindu or any other community .it means that she has to leave her religion whatever she was before and accept Sikhism n she has to become a pure sikhni (sikh girl) n she can't contact with her religion whatever she was before.this is said by guru granth sahib g(book) and this is the saceed book of sikhs like bible and znd point is if I'm not a proper sikh like I cut my beard but not hair then I become only a sikh not singh(pure sikh) and then I can marry with any girl. it doesn't matter she worships of her religion and mine religion also. so it becomes nonsikh marriage .i hope u can understand n u talking abt aliens ya they are exist why because u have to learn sri guru granth sahib g because in this guru g said about aliens, miĺlons of stars ,millions of Sun moon earths planets etc etc which NASA are discovering THEY follow guru granth sahib g kept on the top first place in American library . now they found 7planets like earth but this is nothing because millions of earths in galaxy science can't find all cause this is only explained by first preceptor of Sikhism Sri guru Nanak dev g in japji sahib(lesson) in Sri guru granth sahib . now i hope u will have some time to search for it. my english is not so well i took 30min to write this letter. thanks by kamalsingh

you talking about space .and planets etc etc etc .this are the saying of guru nanak ,in the your sri granth .obviously nanak was born in lahore .among the muslims ,all his friends were muslims ,he learnt the quran and passed the knowledge to hindus ,what you are saying is written in the quran ,so nanak knowledge is from the quran ,quran mentiones life on other planets ,guru nanak knowledge of oneness of god obviously the quran ,before that you worshiped over 300 gods .there are lots of saying in sri granth are from the quran ,their is no other faith mentions any thing to do with space .accept the quran ,then from the quran it been added into your sri granth .through guru nanak ,

KAMAL SINGH kar ditto Na ohi gall. Walaitan Dekhii Ni.. the dullh Gaye. Kithe likhiya Sikh Catholic marriage acceptable Hai? Rehat Maruyada prohibits it. A Hukamnama also bans Anand Karan of a non Sikh in a Gutudwara since such a ceremony means nothing.. since the non Sikh does not believe in Shri Guru Granth Sahib the same way as a Sikh.

Many sikh girls marrying outside religion and sikhism is dying because of this all. According to sikhism sikh should marry with sikh because Hindu don't believe in one God they have many gods, idol worship many more and sikh believe in one God waheguru and in Gurbani. Read hukamnama of 52 of Guru Gobind Singh ji sikh marry their daughter to sikh sabat saurt boy not clean shaven sikh and other non sikh boys and effect of media in bollywood sikh showing as a joker , stupid and foolish person it give bad impact of sikh image and girls and also many sikh girls don't want to marry with sikh boys because they r not charming smart and stylist haircut like other boys. That's why many sikh boys cutting more and more hair cutt beared. I think there is no future of sikhism becasue parents r failed to teach their parents sikhism. That's why all happenning. Guru sehban te bhut modren san, they taught us the lesson of equality, removed caste system, helped poor and needy, empowered women, enlighten spiritual path and so on. Intercaste marriage is never a issue. There is no caste system in sikhi. All sikh males are "Singh" and females "Kaur". But sikhi forbids interfaith marriage. This is Guru Gobind singh ji's hukumnama "Sir munae noo kanaiaa nahee daenee. Uos ghar daeve jithae Akal Purukh dee sikhee ha, jo karza-ai naa hovae, bhalae subhaa da hovae, bibaekee atae gyanvaan hovae - Do not give a daughter's hand in marriage to a shaven one(non sikh). Give her to a household where the Undying divine personification Akal purakh and tenets of Sikhism are respected, that is, marry her ONLY to a gursikh guy"

And sggsj says nothing of wearing a dastar or keski...people r confused between being a sikh and a khalsa

Germ Kullar i know that my only intention in the comment was to say that having spent all my scul nd collage life with sikhs. Most of sikh girls say publically that they dont like sikh guys and all of them are in relation with hindus.More than half of them will marry hindus and muslims and the left portion will not bcus of parental pressure. So parents while teaching their sons the value of sikhi should also teach their daughters its value too. Nd of ur point mai bhago was not the only woman wearing keski. Mata Gujri nd all sikh woman are ordered to be amritdhari. Nd keski is a choice.

the people who believe in one god and chanting god name and who never make differences between poor and rich and strongly believe in one god by grace of guru and who does not have any bad habit like alcohol.who donate money or things to needy people so those people are good for marriage.It doesn't matter for him or herself in which caste they belonge. someone from Sikh family than it has to be proper sikh and of course no bad habit. Hindu should keep strongly believe in one God and having true knowledge about god and goddesses . Muslim has to be namaaji and not has to more desire for non-veg food or better has to be vegetarian . Kristian should non-alcoholic and better should vegetarian.Remember both the couple has to be nami.naam Japna is our daily routin so keep chanting my friends.waheguru. Jo guru se juda nahi wo kisi aur se kaise judega.

Why have title in English then have 90% of the video in Punjabi. Do u know how hard it is to find Sikh advice in English. Most Sikhs speak English 😥

Amm.. most sikhs where you live probably speak English. To say that most Sikhs ii n general speak English isn't accurate. It is true though that there are very limited resources for Sikhs living outside India. I wish more families tried harder to teach their kids Punjabi.. and that Sikh organisations worried harder to produce resources for non-Punjabi speaking Sikhs.
