Thank you for your explaination. My doctor wants to try a platelets injection, he says that this will be painful for a few weeks but that most of his patients don't need surgery afterwards. I'm in pain all the time, being a single mom I can't afford to stop my way of life. I'm going for a cortisone shot next week, this will be step one to aliviate the discomfort, conducting some PT and hope I don't need surgery. BUT VERY HELPFUL

Good video, short and on subject!! I have what i tought to be a shoulder impingement after some strength exercises. I had pain but nothing of such magnitude to restrain the movement of my arm but it hurt even when doing push ups. I didnt hurry to the doctor and time passed, it 3 months now and seeing that pain is still there when wanting to perform push ups and some weighted lateral shoulder rises i went to the doc. First doc consulted me giving me the diagnosis of supraspinatus tendonitis and assured me is not a ruptured tendon, told me not to do any exercises which i didnt in this months and to go and do some PT. I went to a second doctor thats said is best to do an MRI, this second doc told me that the MRI besides the tendonitis of supraspinatus and subscapularis shows some lessions of the supraspinatus but he didnt told me this tears how big are they or where are they, it was rushed. He told me that i dont need surgery but he has a device and he could take some blood of mine and to make some PRP and to inject it in my shoulder so the tendons could heal. He even scared me that probably i wont be able to go to the gym again. Im 41 years old and cant imagine my life without pushing some weight, it does good to my well being. I live in Romania in a small city and i dont know how good the doctors are here. We have small salaries and a PRP infiltration cost almost my whole work monthly payment Can somehow to send you my MRI and have a professional opinion? I have my MRI saved on my laptop and i could send it somehow. I know im asking much but im kind of desperate. I will start PT next year as now with Christmas time all doctors are off work. Please let me know if you can look at my MRI. Thanks!

Hi, I just found your comment and it sounds exactly like what I currently have. Can please let me know what did you do in the end? Did you have to have a surgery or did it heal itself with time? Thank you in advance.

@@mateuszbrzozowski7940 hey, i didnt had surgery! With time i got better but even now im not 100% recovered and maybe I'll never be like before. I dont have any problems if i dont train but when i do i still have some discomfort and i feel that something is wrong. Its interesting that slowly i started to have tendon problems in different parts of the body. Im starting to think that maybe i have some other problems, some blood work on my hormones showed low levels. It's frustrating!

@@AexoeroV Thank you for your swift reply! I'm really pleased you have recovered and didn't need surgery. I'm used to doing pushups and after developing my rotator cuff tear I can't do more than 5 as it starts to hurt and burn around my deltoid muscle. I'm sure you must have felt like that. The worst part of it is that I worry that I won't be able to o my exercises again... Your experience however gives me some hope. Thanks for that. I hope you can find out what is causing your issues and get back to how you were before. Best regards, M
