    It’s unreal the timing of this video, I just got finished commenting on a EZONE 100 thread how I regret buying my TF40 18x20 cause I love control but I know a more powerful racquet would help me win more but coming from a Pro Staff, I can’t help it!

    I tried switching to a thick-beamed 100 for a while and just trusted that I'd get used to it and it'd overall make me a more consistent player. But I never got used to the feel or the automatic power. I felt I had to play more defensively because I couldn't trust turning the gas on, and that made tennis less fun. I went back to pleener territory with more powerful strings and that was a much better adjustment for me. What you're used to is just so important.

    I hybrid natural gut with ALU power in my PD+ but you have to string it on the higher side to reign in that extra power from the natural gut, I usually go with gut in the mains at 63 lbs & ALU power at 60 lbs in the crosses!

    When did you pick up the WISE attachment? Worth it for $800? I'm getting tired of the crank but if there's not that huge of a difference in ease and racket playability, hard to justify.

  • @TennCom

    @TennCom

    3 ай бұрын

    I've used it for about a year and its been worth it. I was using drop weight before which I don't mind other than the speed. I like crank the least because I feel like the tension isn't accurate and the Wise helps with that. Easy to setup and no issues ever.

    The 100 is more powerful, the 98 is more comfortable and less powerful with a bit more control. If you feel you have enough power in your game, go for the 98.

    Hhhh the end is just great. I have a very sensitive wrist, which made me play a lot with the NG gut that you used. The best control you may get if you use a Hawk 17 or ghostwire in the crosses. It will not give you note than 10 h of playing then it becomes harsh. Spin is something you will miss using this NG gut. So, I return to poly as soon as my wrist is better.

    Hey Beckett, wanna ask if you have ever put GS Alpha on the Whiteout? going in week 2 of my tournament with the whiteout paired with M8 at 48/46 and its honestly perfect but my elbow and triceps are starting to hurt especially on flat serves. Was thinking of maybe going for a softer setup like GS alpha or maybe putting PT Pro on the crosses. Can you recommend a soft string setup that will work? (I think multi is a bit too powerful tho)

    No a different racket wont help your tennis unless its some really garbage racket or very extreme specs. Only technique, tactics, footwork, fitness and mentality can help you win, as long as ur equipment is somewhat decent. Choose a racket and stick with it, then only concentrate on ur tennis is gonna be my advice for all the people obsessed over trying different rackets

    Why over power when a slice on every shot does wonders? Ball hit o the forehand, slice it back. Ball hit to the backhand, slice it back. And we’re talking slow balloon slices, not sharp biting slices.
