Can 1500 ELO Chess Player Beat Me In Xiangqi (Chinese Chess)

Ойындар

I play my talented friend David who is really good at Western Chess. Can he adapt his brain to the tactics and game rules of Xiangqi (Elephant Chess aka Chinese Chess)? This might have been his first game against a human. Let's watch the game we played. If you want to play me in Xiangqi, please copy and paste this link: bit.ly/3v6PQpU
I started playing chess in November of 2023. I have other bigs brands that I run, but my mind needed to continue its neuroplasticity, so I started studying chess as a hobby after a childhood family friend who was a chess protegy inspired me. Ultimately, I aspire to get to a level where I can win against that childhood friend who was a chess protegy. Add me on Chess.com and Lichess as jerrycricket. If you add me, please let me know.

David will be back! Also, I know I missed many mate in 2s during the midgame. I'm just beginning to learn Xiangqi, much like my friend David is learning from scratch too, so we will only get better and slowly see mates in 2s easier ;)
