That awning is well positioned, our caravan has it aligned near the door and when it rains there isn’t sufficient shelter coming in and out of the van. I would definitely have it positioned with the door well covered if getting a new van.

The awning is better to extend in front of the door. Mine is level, and rain blows in the door from the side. Well done with this undercover-peasant revolt :)

Looks like a lovely family atmosphere. We haven’t stayed on that site, we usually go to the CAMC site next door but now we want to go here. We like the canopy over the door and not too long. We are in the forest next weekend and looking forward to being in the trees 😃🚐 Trev n Sue

I stayed here following the Peterborough show this year and agree it’s a very nice site. The visiting Fish and Chip van was a good bonus too! Easy cycling distance of Sandringham House, though as I’ve been before I didn’t go in this time. However I did visit by cycle the fascinating Wolferton station, the former royal railway station (from where the coffin of George VI started the journey to London in 1952). Near Wolferton church, I encountered some long lens-wielding paparazzi- HMQ was apparently staying at Wood Farm next door, the hideaway used in retirement by the Duke of Edinburgh, and home in the early 20th century to epileptic Prince John, youngest brother of Edward VIII and George VI.

Sandringham is our go to site. We are just down the A10 in Cambridge. They do a good fish and chip van on site too. Lots of lovely walks straight out the door

Steve just seen this on the web the french are going to fine us when driving in france not sure if you know The Crit'Air vignettes were launched in January 2017 as the French Government wanted to reduce emissions in major cities. The "clean air" windscreen stickers are a legal requirement in some cities and identify a vehicle's emissions levels and, in some cases, restrict access to improve air quality. The vignettes cost just €4.51 (£3.85) including postage per vehicle and failure to have one can lead to an on-the-spot fine of up to €135 (£115). Vehicles which are deemed to be the least polluting like electric and hydrogen cars are afforded preferential parking and traffic conditions

that site reminds me of a site in the new forest i stayed at once i would not go back to that site tho as it was a bit run down this site on the other hand look perfect and what a beutiful entrence to the offices aswell great vlog steve :)

Great video guy's 👍 we really enjoyed staying there last year, and love Norfolk as a whole. How did you all get on with Internet at the overlander show? Our Vodafone signal was awful....even with a booster on the roof, and struggled to stream, upload ect......one of the first times we've struggled tbh. Was thinking it may have something to do with so many people in a small area tanning it?lol When do you start your European tour? All the very best, Joe & vicky.... P.s we need some decals on the van replacing and will be in touch to get that done later in the year.

Love the Sandringham video… we are going to switch our VPN and give your recommendation a whirl!! Could you give us some advise on how you connect to the internet when your away in the Van?? What device and sims do you guys use? Looking for a solid recommendation, we have three children who I’m sure you know are heavy users and can’t live without it!! Look forward to hearing from you!

@@RoamingRadfords Hey thanks for coming back to me, we have considered the Smarty Sims so looks like I’m on the same wavelength! We will definitely give that a try with your link. We looked at Huawei and Netgear for the small router but looking for recommendations? We’re using mobile hotspots when we’re out and about, but looking for something permanent to place in the van. Just swapped our VPN to Surfshark, looking good so far and we have all our tech connected!!
