He didn't and if you want to get technical, Boomer would've received better care at home or a safe enclosed environment with his other humans. The comment was addressing the obvious, "poor lil guy looked so scared." That's 100% true bc Boomer shouldn't have been there anyway. Wet, mosquitos, high winds + shivering while his human drinks a hot beverage, and food doesn't seem like a fun time for any creature. As a Floridian and former reservest this was unneccessarily insane. Risking his own life is his choice, but leave the dog out of this foolishness. Glad you & Boomer got thru safely. I was caught in post-tropical storm Elsa in early July 2021 in Fundy Nat'l Park. Elsa was pretty much a rainfall event (50 to 80 mm) by the time she arrived at Bay of Fundy but still packed winds of 50-90 kph. On my 15 km hike out, I didn't have to deal with any downed trees but steady rain & wind. Fortunately, a bag of dry clothes awaited me when I reached my vehicle.

I live in Florida where hurricanes are a way of life. You are a true maniac for riding out that storm in between huge trees! However, I love your adventures and always learn something new. Still a camper as a 74 year old grannie BUT NEVER DURING A HURRICANE! Yep, a true maniac! I’m in love with your little pup. He is very tolerant of your craziness and a real trooper! Again, thank you for your bravery or nuttiness. Great footage!

Crazy intense storm is all I can say. Glad you and Boomer didn't get hurt. I live in Pennsylvania in the US. We've had weak tropical storms in the past and the main issue was the rainfall. I've also seen sections of forest obliterated from straight line winds and an occasional tornado. I do like to watch storms, usually from inside a vehicle or occasionally under a pavilion. Thanks for sharing your experience and great filmmaking as always.
