it's cammed from the factory .... it's got that specail cam thatll help it last a long time the put it in all there trcuks

It’s definitely not a big cam, but it’s got a Texas Speed cam and DOD delete along with a tune from Schofield Performance. Not much, but I like it nonetheless.

That is because so many Chevy owners don't take great care of the vehicles. I don't feel sorry for them, but they can't complain about things if they can't even take care of their own stuff.

I never care for the "dump," under a vehicle. I think exhaust tips add something nice to the overall look of a vehicle - and they actually do help with sound also in a tiny way.

Pipes out the back give it an actual tone instead of the unfinished sound of dumps. You can control tone depth with tip diameter and length.

LS motors need X pipes so bad with true duals, the rasp is unreal w/o

At least that dumped system has some pipe length after the mufflers. Typically when you dump straight from the mufflers or don't have enough pipe behind it; just makes them sound like a real bassy dump truck with no tone. I've had quiet a few trucks with dumped mufflers and always played around with exit length until I got the tone just right!

i can't imagine how loud a cammed 6.2 liter V8 would sound like on that model year/generation of the Silverado that is in the video

The displacement on these engines doesn't really change the sound so much as the size and pipe orientation.

Everything I've heard on this channel so far sounds raspy but at least you guys can weld lol

Cleetis Macfarland recently posted a video of one of these trucks, completely stock, being dyno tuned to run on Nitro Methanol. Inwont say how much power they started with or ended with, but it's worth watching. They made double the HP they started with
