Love the muffler comparison test that dude holding all of those mufflers up for us should get a free chicken dinner. Truck sounds awesome sweet job on the exhaust

I like this kind of comparison. That said it's going to sound different when they add the turbo.

Running 3" through an X pipe, into the muffler then 2.5 out to a 5" rolled end has a hell of a nice sound.

The 2 flowmasters and the last one were the best sound should of tried some super 10s

Loved it. Maybe the next one could be on that Grand Marquis on the other lift. The bottle resonators sounded better than I thought

I am a fan of vibrant but that carven sounds rawn and nice and the idle sound is great 👍

You have a great muffler shop. It is really cool to test out various mufflers before installing and choosing the right sound as a customer. Too bad you guys aren't in Southern California. Great videos you make of your business.

The Vibrant bottles were good no raspy sound but each person has a personal taste all good!

I liked hearing the different variations from quite to aggressive. I am a Flaow-Master fan though. Pretty cool clip though

1999-2002 front clip and gauges. The 03-06 trucks has a 120 mph speedometer and the avalanche cat eye front clip and extended bumper.

Thanks for the demonstration on all of the mufflers. I'm still wondering what to install on my challenger shaker. 5.7 I done the resonators deleted and put 4inch quads on it that made a big difference to the sound. Might get the bullets 🤔love your videos

I like the Outlaws from Flowmaster myself ! They have a low rumble that I think sounds Great 👍 Wish I could get a sound like that out of my Tacoma . 😆

Wish they’d put at least the 4.7 V8 in the Tacomas then I’d buy one. I’m happy with my ram 1500 though

Man I love this channel! Just subscribed. I put up a couple videos on my channel of Dynomax 3" Race Bullets and Jones 3" Max Flow if you want to hear the difference. Race Bullets were too "cackly" to me, Jones is deeper.

Vibrant sounds the best to me I like that deep tone BUT the carvens had the best idle

I thought the final revving bit reminded me of clapped out poppy glass packs on an old Chevy truck. Sounded better on the move.

Black Widow mufflers are still my favorite and sound the best for cammed motors

Think I preferred the bigger of the two Flowmaster Outlaws

I’ve got a 2000 silverado with a stage 2 cam kit in the 5.3 engine, headers, mild stall, I’d like you guys opinion on what I should change the exhaust to, it’s got a magnaflow dual in dual out over axle dump..I like the ground pound of the axle dump..so probably keep that.. thst flowmaster dual in dual out or some single chamber flows..I think there called super 10’s..and if you guys were open on a Saturday I’d come see ya and let ya set me up

One of the things that may escape some people is that the Ultra Quiets have more "pops" to them and I think that suggests that it sounds more true to a straight pipe. The others will color the sound of the exhaust more and drone more. I think the Ultra quiets as resonators and the Carven Rs as the actual mufflers would've also been a mean combo.

I wish i wwouldve went with the super 10, my flowmaster 40 just sounds loud thru 2000-2400 rpm them ģets quiet again after that it seems. Id like it to be loud theu the entire range. Might do the super 10 dumped before the axle

@@chrishansen7004 hell yeah, im currently waiting to buy a cam until i get some other mods done but i have some short tube headers im getting ready to put on and iv since got rid of the flowmaster for a bullet style resonator dumped over the rear axle. It sounds excellent now lol

Vibrant Smooth performance cruiser sound 1 st flow outlaws for performance and cam sound Dynomax sound like mellow outlaws.

I did as well. Now I have switched to flowmaster 40's. Is much deeper at idle now, but kinda miss the "roll" sound.

In my opinion, Carven exhaust R series is the best on the market.

Love the sound of the SLP Loudmouth 1's personally. The Black Widow Widow Maker is another favorite. Corsa pro series or Spintech 9000's sound wicked on an ls with headers, x pipe and equal lengths

​@@luisbernal8283 probably add a torque or 2 on a stock setup. When cammed it will help drastically. You need to understand how exhaust pulses work in the exhaust stream and how they differentiate between open and chamber style mufflers. You sound un educated on the subject.

Keep your stock one in one out cat. Add Dodge resonator. Y out two over axle one for each side. effects for the 😜BEST SOUNDS 👍 looks with Y chrome Tips #1 L.Gee.Stock Mud flaps tip protection.

You're one of the best muffler shops out there you just let this guy hear these mufflers before he made his decision. Over here in my city they don't even want to talk and they overcharge

They all sound relatively the same. Does anyone still make glass packs or cherry bombs anymore? I have thrush glass packs on mine. Sounds great!

I would go with the flow masters too but they have too much drone

The VIBRANT Bottle Resonators sound the best to me, they cancel the rasp tone better.

Who did the tuning on it? From Bristol area looking for tuner to do afm delete and tune the btr v2 cam as well

ultraquiet is the most quiet 👌

Personally like the way the stainless sounds.

Would like to see the same comparison on a GM 3.6L. I have a CTS Coupe that needs some love in the exhaust area.

I have a trailblazer with a btr stage 2 truck cam in a 5.3L I got a flow fx muffler single in single out with a y pipe and it has this like drowning water sound at idle and I don't like it. Would deleting the Y pipe and do a dual in single out sold that problem?

Ok,I have a question I think you can answer. I have a 2012 Camaro 6.2. It has stage 3 cam,complete dod delete,long tube headers,no cats at all into borla ataks,I’m in the process of installing an x pipe. It’s so freaking loud,what mufflers would you suggest. I don’t want it to quiet,but I have to quiet it down. I want a deep tone,thanks in advance.

Yes as long as they are good Magnaflow high flows

The guy talking sounds like the same dude from Instagram with the twin turbo Buick

What high flow cats were used look like slps

DB will go down ALOT with tailpipes

Lose the cross pipe and come out over top of the trans support like the passenger side. Use a 90° X pipe and keep it as close to equal length as possible. His work truck would sound more like a Nascar or Corvette.

Flowmaster takes about a month to break in and they get louder and sound better than brand new from the box

There’s no packing to break in for the flowmasters. They’re just a chambered design.

You never did let it idle on all mufflers to establish a baseline. What is the decibels when idling???? Jabbing the gas tells us nothing.

LS manifolds are basically shorty headers, longtubes give you more top end hp but not really enough to notice during street driving, and you have to tune the engine to get any actual gain from headers so no reason to change if you don't want to tune it

I personally think the outlaw had a 'empty sound'

Going to go with the Carven, but I really like the sound of Borla or Corsa personally.

@@Drae2g2 I think Carven R is pretty similar to a muffler delete, just alittle deeper and cleans it up slightly. Pretty good for $90. Corsa Sport/db on the other hand is cleaner, more crisp, no drone. They're usually pretty quiet at idle and cruise, but one of the loudest options at WOT.
