thanks. I really like the idle. The sound above 2500 rpm or so really gets old though will likely be adding another muffler upstream next year to tame it down some

greatest sounding 3800 V6 Ever....to be fair it sounds Way better at idle then full throttle.

@@GearStreet yes, if you run an equal length Y pipe (or X pipe, or H pipe), the sound will be pretty smooth. Way smoother than this video. Unequal length exhaust before the merge of the 2 exhaust banks is what causes the rasp as heard in this video (as well as LS engines)

yes. intense racing did. they mailed me a tuned ECM

How much tuning did it need ?

just a mail order tune from john at intense got it running really well. Ran decent enough to drive around on the stock tune, but johns tuned smoothed it out perfectly.
