Really good MPG. Having a manual does help slightly. I love driving my birds, but I enjoy my 3 mile drive to work. You must really like your job!

After I competed my trades course in the military in 2007 I bought my very first Firebird. I had so much fun in that car . It was a V6 . Unfortunately I was too intimidated at that time to work on the car and it reached a point where I couldn’t safely drive it. I ended up selling it and it’s one of my biggest regrets. I miss reving that car and driving like a madman . Great video

Good video, thanks for making it! I'm really considering getting a 98-02 V6 Firebird soon. I'm just not sure if I should do it this summer it wait a few years after the economy and supply chain gets back to normal. Maybe low milage Firebirds won't be over $10k...

Thanks so much for this video. I am working on a 99 bird and actually a very dependable car. Only problem I have currently is after I replaced struts and springs my camber is off and seems no one can fix it. Not bad but I don't like my steering wheel off center.

I am restoring my 2002 Pontiac Firebird with 3800 Series II V-6 and- 5-speed stick. The mechanics are all done except for the engine, bodywork and repaint in metallic burgundy red (factory color name is Maple Leaf Metallic). Car now has just over 200,000 miles on it and original engine is still running strong. I use it as my daily driver and take really good care of it.

Hey guys need some help. Need a 1 piece drive shaft for my 5 speed. Can I use one out of automatic v6? Or can I use the aluminum one from the V8?

👉THESE 3800s ARE PRETTY GOOD ON GAS MPG🤟I DID A TEST ONCE BEFORE BETWEEN MY N/A AND SUPERCHARGED BUICK AND THE SUPERCHARGED BUICK AVERAGED 1-2MPG BETTER ON A LONG DISTANCE DRIVE. GLAD I DID THAT TEST WHEN GAS PRICES WERE STILL LOW😉‼️

Man, today I missed out on purchasing two Firebirds. The first one I was gonna buy was a red 2002 W68 Firebird, one owner, 48,382 miles, black leather interior, always kept in a garage, the taillights were flawless, sold for $11k. Then I called about a red 1999 W68 Firebird closer to me with 78,000 miles, sold today for $13k.

Did you consider that your car will register it went more miles or less miles given your odometer will not be accurate and miles given you have larger tires
