So good to see you again Rebecca ! Lovely episode. I can relate to trying to fing the right format for your own videos, and not being sure about the balance of what you want to share and what you think people will want, so definitely don't hesitate to experiment with "sections" and seeing what you like talking about ! I do like to "future plans" sections, especially as you can get help for decisions lol. I personally like option 1 better, I feel it might be too much with option 2, esp with the bright colours already + colourwork + tassels. But you do seem to already have a preference aha

Thank you for the tip! Most advice I hear is to make content you enjoy so I think it’ll just take time to strike that balance 😅 and yes, might be impartial to option 2…but it’s mainly because I loved making the tassels! A few people have said option 1 so it’s kinda swaying me

Ooh the knitting in rib technique is one I've used for knitting button bands! Interesting to use it for other parts of a garment. As for the scarf, I much prefer the first option. I really like how the color work looks like hearts, very sweet and feminine imo. I also am not a fan of tassels for the most part. Thank you for another fun video, Rebecca! Was so excited to see this in my subscriptions tab 🥰

I like both options for your scarf -- I think the second option is unique and really fun with the tassels and columns so that's my vote!

i really like the idea from the aspen sweater, knitting the sleeves before the body. I ALWAYS have such a hard time picking up the underarm stitches and I always have holes or really stretched out stitches. I might modify my next raglan to do it this way and see if it works better for me!

Ah so sorry for the late reply! It’s so interesting how everyone’s process is different as I really struggled to understand how to knit the body first! Have you ever tried picking up more stitches at the underarm? When I knit raglan sweaters, I usually pick up double the amount of stitches that is recommended in the pattern and then in the following round I knit them together so Im back to following the stitch count for the sleeves

@@hipknithooray oh no i haven’t tried that! i’ve actually used smaller needles to cast on the underarm stitches and that has helped a lot with holes/gaps so i think i’m going to continue with that, and it seems like backwards loop cast ons are always super loose for me so i prefer knitted cast on. still experimenting on exactly which method i prefer though, i’ve only knit 4 top down sweaters so far

Loved seeing your lovely projects! I also have exactly one Christmas tree ornament hahaha, and I am thinking to knit / crochet some ornaments this year too! One ornament I have in mind is inspired by one that I saw in a store recently - it's a little red car with a Christmas tree tied to the roof. I am really excited to see which patterns you find!

I love the your red camisole no 9!! I feel like it's always quite hard for me to find a perfect red! As I am watching this video, I am working on binding off a folded hem and I find it way too hard to bind off and knit tgr at the same time. I could only sew it afterwards

Loved this! How did you get access to the Franky Genser by Sandnes Garn sweater? I tried going to the website from Ravelry and I just CANNOT find the pattern anywhere. I really want to make it!

You may want to add a hyperlink to your notes to show a video of the technique. Most people are visual learners and simply telling someone how to do something is not usually a great help.
