One of my favorite transitions! I was just amazed and trying to figure it out the first time I saw it.

When single-framing through it, one might notice: At 0:06 (an instance before the mirror is turned by 90°), one should see the back wall, not the side wall (i.e., the camera should turn 180° in the same time the mirror rurns 90°)

The first time I saw CONTACT I was totally blown away by that shot! You've done a great of showing how to recreate it. Congrats!

I just did this for my exam. It looks so kick ass!! Thank you so so so much ❤️oh and NB guys don't have your actor cross their hand over the green. I didn't use a cabin, I used a flip mirror. Worked just as well. Only difference is that I had to move my camera down with the down motion of the down flipping mirror.
