im 47 I remember when this came out. You are very right- we won't hear a group like this again unless its hipster white kids totally doing a cameo rip off! I would hate to see it- but if it made more people realize what amazing song writers they were- as well as how far ahead of their time they were( a lot of bands on alternative rock radio sound like more like this than Nirvana or the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 2016) it would be worth it. But I will smack a mother fucker who says OWWWWW on stage all the time if I see him on the street!!!

I remember watching this on BET when I was 15 or so. We had just finally gotten a color TV and cable. Cameo was so talented, innovative and creative throughout their entire career.

Absolutely legendary. I pay homage to the oldschool without them we wouldn't even be here. This track takes me back to when my oldest brother used to do donuts in the middle of the street ,& smoke the tires on his 1974 ,5 speed 350 badass Camaro. Back in 1985. I was 6 years old

God I'd forgotten just how brilliant this tune is. Popped up as recommended when watching Full Force. Had this album on vinyl. Think I might have to go and listen to it after a 30 year absence...

the way this is shot, the sepia tone in the beginning, makes it even more nostalgic.

The staccato keyboard chords, the palm muted guitar riff and the slap bass guitar at 01:35 to 01:36 is fecking amazing.

Cameo is a legendary band. The can do it all. Bangers, slow jams, funk, hip hop, soul, socially conscious, jazz, funky new wave ie. Alligator Woman. They need to be inducted to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in my opinion. Also Larry Blackmon is one of the most underrated producers ever.
