This is the first American cartoon show that I've watched that doesn't have some kind of cringey bathroom joke in the first episode. I hope the whole show is like this :)

@@abominableman Tbh, you could argue those shows are the reason they're dumb. I'd much rather have a kids show at least be educational, whether they're teaching morals or more conventional academic material. We dont seek out mindless cartoons. We often see our young relatives watching them, see them pop up online, or rewatch them because we watched them when we were younger. We have full right to criticize those shows because they are providing absolutely no substance for kids. A kids show can easily be entertaining and humorous while being educational or otherwise informative, see Cyberchase. We're generalizing American Cartoons here because cable is dying, so while cable is hopelessly trying to pump out dumb show after dumb show trying to keep children entertained, streaming services will occasionally pump out bad shows because they need to get something out. Also, "bad representation" and bias? Could you please elaborate?
With only 10 episodes this show can be better than so many others cartoon with more episodes

Over the Garden Wall might be one of the best animated shows I've seen, from the message as a whole, to the comedy, characters, the whole ordeal. I fuckin love it, and will continue to watch it every year Thank you Patrick McHale

I love Over the Garden Wall!!! I love its familiar ambiance of the fear of being lost and being faithful... Also i used this playlist when im reading The Atelier of Witch Hat... It was too suitable for its chapters' flowing and its magical air, I recommend everyone to read it and listen this!
So here recently I started listening to this playlist as I ride around town on my bike and it's like the best feeling in the world Very relaxing and in a way nostalgic?? I highly recommend,but anyway thank you for your time if you're reading this hope your day is going swell and I hope it continues to be so🤙

Yo, all my favorite OTGW songs in one playlist, with ambience, recommended right when Fall's started kickin' off? Much appreciated.
The entire OTGW soundtrack gives me the same comfortable vibes, but Send Me a Peach, Patient Is the Night and Over the Garden Wall (the song from episode 6) just... they just feel different to me. They feel so darn sweet and cozy, like a dear old friend of mine is sitting beside me on my porch and singing me songs on a warm evening. We just sit there and sing as the sun goes down, maybe even drinking some sweet tea all the while. This scenario feels so lovely, and I just adore these songs for it. :D For anyone else wanting to listen to these three specifically, here's some timestamps. :) 1:30 3:30 9:36
