Using the OP-1 Field and the EP-133 KOii to make this laid back house tune from scratch. Turned out kinda lofi, levels are kinda wonky, but that is what happens when you try and make a beat in an hour without a computer! These jams are really just about having fun and making music though, nothing too serious.
I love my OP-1 Field, but I am not in love with the KOii...It is fun and immediate, and the punch in effects are a great performance tool, but I find I would rather just be using the SP-404MKII. I just really want to have the ability to resample. The KOII has made me realize I want the 404 to have a built in mic though! Some older SPs had built in mics, so I wonder why they got rid of that? I love just grabbing something and sampling right to the machine.
Another video coming next week, but likely not with the KOii. Till then, peace.

Does the EP133 save the midi notes played on the OP1? For example if I hit record on the EP-133 and play some notes on the OP1 will it play them when I hit play?

The EP can be triggered and recorded via midi, you could do this with the op1 but you would need to get the midi out from the OP1 from usb, to a midi hub or computer, then sent to the EP. You essentially need a third device acting as an intermediary
Do you even tweak the volume of snare (or tweak down all other)?
