Our exact family Vacation growing up. Hatteras house on stilts, lighthouse hunting, 4wding on the beach, Oak Ferry, hot tub dips on the top deck and sand crab hunting at night. You’re giving your kids the most beautiful memories that will last a lifetime. If your boys love body womping in the waves, next year get them some body surfing fins! They can go out further while staying safe.

What a privilege to share your forever memories. Just uplifting.

Watching your kids have the freedom to just be kids as they are growing up says so much about you. Your love, family values, positive attitudes and work ethics you demonstrate within your family is so refreshing to see...thank you! I do so enjoy your channel...

@Billy Thompson, For the most part, Erin does almost all the filming and editing to come up with a BEAUTIFUL video. Erin actually took 0nline courses ( In all that "spare time" she has!!!) She has pretty much mastered the art!!! and look at the Photojournalist she's become!!!!

I grew up on a farm. We worked hard all year. Once a year before school started back we went to the beach for a week and shopped for school clothes and supplies. I am 57 and seeing this video reminded me of those days growing up on a farm. Life was much simpler then.

What a fun family adventure. All of your kids are so stinking cute. Adorable.

The kids will never forget the trips with Mom and Dad.

A fun thing you can do on the beach while making Sand Castles is to take a large cup and fill it with enough sand\water so its almost the consistency Milk Shake. Then it can be poured out to make snake like cords and even pile it on top of itself to looks like an Ice Cream Cone since it looses the water almost instantly it will keep that shape for awhile. The trick in making Sand Castles that will hold up longer is use a pour water in a bucket etc with sand until it just pools on the surface is its ideal ratio. Indeed filling dry sand into a cup eady made mold only needs it added to keep its shape in case the little one are to small get near the water and of course the most fun about Sand Castles is leaving some behind or going Godzilla on them before you do...

Alex, I am so sorry that your parents weren't there for you. That must be such a void for you. Josh, I am sorry that you grew up with Zealots. I, too, grew up with religious parents but I was on the other side of the spectrum. My parents were loving and our home was filled with the love of Christ. It must have been so difficult dealing with those religious, demonic spirits. And Juinor, I am so proud of you for running away and creating a wonderful family of your own- you beat the enemy! All in all, guys, please know that you have a Father in Heaven that doesn't resemble our parents of earth. He doesn't carry the faults that our human parents carry and he doesn't look to our deeds to measure how much he loves you. Nothing you do and nothing you've gone through can make Him love you more or less. He loves you unequivocally. He created you so that you would spend eternity with Him in perfect peace and love. Please don't let your earthly experiences take this knowledge away from you. He wishes to have a relationship with you, aside from "religion". The devil comes to kill, steal and destroy and He may have been able to kill your joy, steal your peace and destroy your precious heart's love for a season but I pray that our Heavenly father restores all of those things for you and more in Jesus' Mighty Name! It was so wonderful watching your family at the beach.I lived on Grand Isle,a barrier island that was almost destroyed by hurricane Ida.We had our family camp there for several years and we decided 5 years ago to retire there.I have had so many wonderful years there watching my grandchildren grow up there.Grand Isle people are very strong and we will rebud.I love you and Josh's house.Our modified Aframe was built in 1977. Unfortunately it didn't survive this storm.Tonite watching you made me smile and remember.Thank you
