I was there when he gave this talk during the worst depression of my life. The day before I turned 21. My journey through 7 mental health diagnoses has been refining. At age 48 I claimed Dissociative Identity Disorder to go along with words like Bipolar and Borderline. It's about what happened to me as a child. I want to act and not be acted upon. I am still called to serve.

Be well in your journey. Your challenge is a special gift of learning for some greater purpose. Edersheim speaking about the woman who touched his garment: "Not the garments in which He appeared among men, and which touched His Sacred Body, not even that Body, but Himself brings healing. Again, there was the danger of losing sight of that which, as the mortal element, is necessary in faith: personal application to and personal contact with, Christ."
I'm glad the church has put more of Elder Maxwell talks on KZread so we can study and review his great words of wisdom. A man of God! I don't believe anyone could hit the dislike button on his talks. If someone did do that, there is something definitely wrong in their life. For me I like every talk from Elder Maxwell. One thing I have learned from all his talks, you must listen very close to each of his words. He goes through so many different topics so fast. I know Elder Maxwell was a true apostle for Jesus Christ ! It would be great if we would be able to listen to Joseph Smith talks. I'm sure his talk would be so great.
I love Elder Maxwell's talks. I always have since I was a teenager. :)

No, I don't say anything about some of the things giving me,by the Holy Ghost and any other servant of God. But in giving my personal Testimony I believe some things I have been shown, told, only because I knew it was for the benefit of those hearing me. Love our Apostles here with us and those who have endured till called for more assignments beyond the vail ❤️📖🙏
