A full circle from mentor to president, from mentee to president
This is absolutely my favorite talk of all the 1000's of ward, stake, devotional, and conference talks I've ever heard. The Holy Spirit teaches me something new and powerful about Jesus Christ every time I hear this talk. I did not understand the doctrine of grace before this talk. Thank you!!!
So beautifully taught! I learned so much. Very touching. Thank you for sharing.
Good Morning 🌞 brothern, Thank You for this wonderful talk on Family,YES !! It is a BlESSING to get to LOVE & TEACH about OUR SAVIOR. Grand MA of twelve, some has went on there Mission.❤
Thank you!!! I feel confident going forward facing multifaceted disagreements with those I love and respect. Love your shining example of goodness.
"He did not pray that his circumstances would be changed, he prayed that he would be able to adapt to his circumstances."
A powerful quote!
This needs to be replayed at every commencement. In this world of contempt, I need to repent and love the unloveable I have created since there is no such thing to God.
thank you very much!
Elder Henry B I love u😢😊
"Intimacy in Christ is perfection"and therefore, perfection is possible.
Provo is in the middle of nowhere but i loved !

Your words make me want to do better. To seek my Savior more. To trust him as a child trusts their parent. Thank you for your message Jenet. I love you dear friend.
We're glad you enjoyed her message; it's truly inspiring.
The first time I listened to this talk, it changed my life forever. I had so many doubts regarding particular “secondary questions” and I was scared that because of the existence of those doubts, that meant the church wasn’t true. But then one of my best friends shared this talk with me and as I listened, I felt the spirit so strong, and my mind was taken back to the times on my mission where I testified of the truthfulness of the gospel in its most simplistic form and where I witnessed my investigators do the same. This talk taught me that it’s ok to have questions, but to never let those questions make me doubt the answers to the primary questions that I know with all my heart.
Thank you so much for sharing your inspiring story.
No Templo e em meu lar eu sinto o abraço dele. Portanto nada poderá nos abalar.
Beautifully said
Absolutely Amen ❤❤
its for most people
Cheers to all the mothers and parents out there, thank you for all that you do for us and more importantly for the very reason why you do them.
This was such a strong and peaceful message, I felt the spirit while listening to this ❤
Wonderful, Tender, expression of our eternal purpose. The only thing we take from this life into the next is our relationships. Family is primary and worth the time to repent, forgive, cherish, honor, protect, in short become love.
This is an answer to my prayer. Thank you for this divinely inspired message❤
Beautiful talk 💫
Grant, I remember a discussion in your truck, years ago when I had only two kids, and because of that discussion, I now have 7.
Let’s go!!!
Happy Mother’s Day!
A tip for all college students watching this... make and keep the living of the gospel of Jesus Christ the primary motivation in your life. I've had too many friends fall away from the church because, despite their efforts, they did not receive the blessings of a family. I suppose they thought prospering in the land was a temporal blessing and not the actual blessing of inheriting this earth in it's Celestial Glory, even this promised land. These blessings come to the most capable and the most foolish, the most eager and the laziest. And sometimes, depending on who you are led to marry, your spouse may not be a blessing at all. And so, yes, I echo all that this good brother said, but add that if we don't make the living of the Gospel our top priority at all times... it won't matter much what else we make our priority in this life--in the end. As we eagerly accept, make, and keep our covenants with God as he gives us commandments, it will be easy to then desire to make, keep, and magnify our marital covenants--if that is the path we are allowed in this mortal probation.
I haven't listened to this talk in a long time, but it came to mind recently as a soft-spoken instruction to listen to it now. It is definitely what I needed right now
That was an awesome message! I also testify that in family relationships we find our greatest joy.
Thank you!
Thank you very much!
I wish that was the truth for everyone!
The truth is always for everyone but not everyone is for the truth.
This is such a valuable message! My heart is full and words fail, and all I can say is thank you so much. beautiful. touching. inspirational. The most accurate definition of what is truly most important in our lives!
Thank you for your comment!
Beautiful speech! Moved me to tears. May we all be more loving!

Words of hope and encouragement
First comment! I love the psalm of Nephi!❤ An uplifting and edifying speech.
To know what now-President Holland was about to experience in the two years following this talk is an almost unimaginable testimony of the truth of his words. All of us must go through the sanctification of fire eventually and, without the Savior, none of us would survive it. Hold on and keep your eyes on His. He won't let you down and, in the end of all things, it will have been worth every agony.
This is one of those special and great talks. Thank you!
Eu vou só me recostar no teu peito. Sentindo a batida de teu coração e a tua respiração da tua fala para mim. Não falarei, só me encostarei em ti.
Good morning 🌞 brother, Thank you for this talk,I, needed this ONE, in my Prayers always❤😅
What a fantastic breakdown of my favorite chapter in the Book of Mormon
❤ so true Thank you for the advice and encouragement ♥️
thank you elder Pace. I'm leaving this comment here to help me remember to came back and listen to this talk from time to time
That was fantastic. I’m grateful you shared the heritage you come from. Finding my voice in difficult circumstances is not something I find easy. But I bet it wasn’t easy for your ancestors or yourself either. Especially in the face of possible physical and emotional harm. Thank you thank you for who you are. Grateful for your light!
This is one of the best BYU talks in the last few years.
Oh Dear Elder Maxwell, Thank you for sharing your wisdom. The very sound of your voice comforts my heart. I have listened to the truths of the Gospel through many sleepless nights. I am forever grateful to a Loving Heavenly Father teaching me through your selfless sharing of your Testimony.

Bad night of sleep. I have been inactive for many, many years. And last night was a bad night of remembrance of my sins. Now I remember that I am to patiently overcome and endure well.
Muito obrigado professora Danielle.
