Father your heartfelt story has touched my heart. Here in Sydney Australia on a cold wet Friday afternoon in bed with a lacerated leg from a fall on a bus step you are an inspiration. An extended period of homelessness in my 50s enabled me to surrender myself to the Lord and have complete trust in Him and hand my life over to him. It is the key to true happiness. 🇦🇺

Fr Mike, from the first time I heard you speak you were like a magnet to my heart. After hearing more my Soul is urging me even more to take a road trip. I do very much want to attend one of your Masses and have you hear my Confession. I can't explain these feelings or know why but I'm sure they are very real. May God continue to Bless you and and all the good work you do.

I cannot tell you how this has impacted me. I am 75 years old, a Catholic for 25+ years and I have never heard this kind of story. This man, Fr. Mike, brings clarity to real life and God's involvement is our ever day life. I listen to his homilies everyday that I can find them on KZread and I have a better understanding of how to live my life. I don't always do it, but I try and I know when I have disappointed my Lord. Thank you God, for Fr. Mike!

I was 11 years old, the first time I realized how lopsided the world was. It was my first day living in Rio de Janeiro. I had stepped on a jet, in NYC, November 3, 1967, & 12 hours later, a huge platter of meats sat before me, as I sat alone in a Copacabana hotel veranda. 3 boys were teasing me, and I noticed a hole in one of the shorts of one of the boys. He had no briefs on, and the teasing was actually the boy's asking for something to eat.The waiter tried shooing them away. I said, "no", and pushed the plate of meats toward the 3 boys, motioning for them to take some. I learned the face of want that day.

A prayer for priests: Keep them I pray thee, dearest Lord, Keep them, for they are Thine- Thy priests whose lives burn out before Thy consecrated shrine. Keep them for they are in the world, Though from the world apart, When earthly pleasures tempt, allure,- Shelter them in Thy heart. Keep them, and comfort them in hours of loneliness and pain, When all their life of sacrifice for souls, Seems but in vain. Keep them, and O remember Lord, They have no one but Thee, Yet! they have only human hearts, With human frailty, Keep them as spotless as the Host, That daily they caress- Their every thought and word and deed, Deign, dearest Lord to bless. Amen.

I so enjoyed listening to your story. At seventy-seven years old I have known many priests, related to a priest, made vestments for the church and my father was ordained in the first class of Deacons in the PNW back in 1974. He served as a Deacon for over thirty years. Everything you say is so wonderful to hear and I could listen to you speak each day. This is just wonderful hearing your story. Thank you for choosing what God chose for you. Thank you for sharing your story and hopefully it resonates to others. God bless and Peace be with you and with us all.

Fr. Michael, l love your sharing about listening to God about becoming a priest! And your daily conversations with God. Yes, God created us to be happy. Otherwise, why did He create us? God is all good, He wants us to be happy but we think happiness is getting what we want, not what God wants for us! You opened my eyes again, even at 82, l am stilll learning stuff§! God speaks with us through His word (Bible), through people, and events In one’s life. I read the daily Gospels, l joined a Prayer group, and l will concentrate on my listening to God more now, like you! Thank you Fr. Mike!

God calls all of us to be a living sacrifice, and we all have our own personal struggles in following him and doing his will. No human eagerly embraces the cross. So you are leading us in your telling, of how to persevere through the spiritual struggles we all face. Thank you. I pray for you every day, and your daily homilies grace my life. Fr. Mike, I can't recall how I came across discovering you, maybe Facebook, but I thank God I did, I listen to every homilies and talks you do, everyday on my lunch break 😃, you are such a blessing, your homilies are like reading pages of a spiritual book, if ever you find a little time I think you should write one. You make me cry, you make me laugh, you give me hope, courage, joy, peace... I hope one day to be able to meet you in person and have a long talk with you. Please never stop recording your Mass and talks etc... when I see you go to the Ambo I get all exited just like a kid seeing his favorite baseball player come to the plate. We need more honest Priests like Fr. Mike. I wish that I would Live close to the Parish he is establis. I would love to have a Spiritual Director as Father Mike. Priests like Father Mike are a special jewel find. Priest now days ,not all are indifferent to talk about Spiritual Warfare so they are unable to help a person in need of guidance. One Priest I follow,, Father Lampert said it correctly ,many things about our Catholic Faith are not taught to the Seminarians... Many Priests have made it a business by being PRIESTS. Let us pray for Father Mike, and all the PRIESTS who are in need.

"But everybody has a vocation, a calling from God.........we all do and that is holiness. The question is, how do we live holiness? Every vocation has a price to pay - pay it. Every vocation has a life to live - live it. Every vocation has risks and to the degree that we are afraid to take the risks in our vocation, that is the degree to which we will not be happy. Everybody is called to make of yourselves a living sacrifice." Good good stuff. Thank you Fr Mike

The Fathers are well educated . I missed the Divine calling of being a nun . Education was more important ...so i spent 40 years just working and studying . Now im on a plato . ..but any case . Great being a Catholic . Its my life ❤❤❤

We take so much for granted and that seems like a serious sin. I look back over my life and see it all and how ungrateful I have been for what we are losing now everyday. I will never take God for granted again, that's for sure. ❤

I can't explain how much this testimony has meant to me and so many others. God has His way, and it's wonderful. My prayers are always His will be done. Being from New can definitely relate to your calling. You have brought comfort to me this day. So many of life's stories come together hearing this. I had time at the cemanary in B. S. L... meet the guys we were kids and I think they all shared some of this connection piece of the life puzzle. You have definitely had a calling, and just my thoughts, many others were called to be with you in this time in earth's history. I can't thank you enough, and you are in my prayers.

How beautiful would it be to raise the Holy Eucharist and say THIS IS MY BODY I think about that so often.
