Yuri just saved the president's ass thats the least he could do

At the end when Yuri gets knocked back and wounded, I like that Truck immediately grabs him and risks his life for Yuri, just shows how loyal metal team are to their allies

To all you wandering: Frost was promoted and reassigned to the Spec Ops mode unit before this mission, if you play that mode you can hear that Overlord calls you by your callsing "Metal Zero-Four" Edit: I saw the "captain promotion" part in some wiki but now I realize that part is theorically impossible. Frost is indeed the one doing the Spec Ops Missions (in the case they are canon) but the real reason he isn't in this mission is purely to not kill the character, we dont oficially know what happened so we can only speculate (either he is injured from the previous mission or was reassigned to the Spec Ops Unit)

Alec Cross Yeah, probably an oversight. The highest rank I’ve heard someone getting a battlefield promotion, was Staff SGT to 2nd Lieutenant. Though this was in WW2 and he basically had every medal.

You'd be surprised how easy it was to rank up in a battlefield back in WWII. A CO can easily promote you back then. These days, you'd have to undergo more than just your CO saying I'm promoting you. Besides, to even get to a commissioned rank, you'd still have to undergo OCS.

Check the dlc mission - Black ice. Frost was in the same place as Price , Yuri, Sandman and the other 2. He was just in a different zone and in fact he planted the explosives which led to Sandman and the other 2 guys deaths.

It's got to be non canon. Those explosives could have very easily killed the Russian president if things went wrong. That's not a risk they would take.

I noticed Grinch and his double hand-gun, truck, and of course Sandman facing the tides only to protect the hind, it's a one of my best scene ever! R.I.P you guys

It is so dark and unsettling about what you realize that Frost was responsible for killing all of the enemies inside the mine, including his teammates.

Price shouting at Yuri’s near death shows his determination to not let another teammate die on his watch.

Yooo to the person playing thank you for not shooting at the end so we could see the full badassery of Delta. The deaths of Delta Squad seem incredibly underrated and forgotten. I sure hope they remaster this campaign some time soon too so we can have the full MW trilogy look just as beautiful as it is to play!

Sometime in 2014, I faked sick to stay home. It worked, I played the last 2 missions. Best day ever.

Don’t worry about Frost. He’ll be fine.

This mission should’ve been called “The Call of Duty” because the 3 mins of the mission is the definition of it🤧

One thing that i like on the scene where yuri downed is when grinch's weapon is out he throw it and take an akimbo pistols

10:09 I dunno why but this scene was always so cool looking back. Just seeing all five members of the rescue party descending into the mine was so awesome. Like they knew the fate of Europe, as well as the world, rested upon them.

Frost was actually there in the portioned area of the mine, play the mission Black Ice in Spec Ops. He was responsible for blowing up the mine because there we're too many soldiers to deal with, and he is also responsible for killing his teammates.

And then kids that elevator became a can of whoop ass!
