Veri Fiun The only perfect combo of graphics, gameplay, and story is the Half Life series. That series was WAAAAYYYYY ahead of its time. 2004 and ragdoll physics, a story that never ends (in a good way), and decent graphics to make you play it again. Plus, the world just felt open in a way that other first person shooters with a campaign did not give you. But yes, MW2 is a fucking spectacular game.
@cadencesweetser6907

Because the consumer believes that graphics do. Its important in a different type of way ... But definitely not gameplay
@amiththomas3884
9 жыл бұрын
Veri Fiun Actually, minecraft has good graphics. It has very obvious, stylized visuals. Within that art style, it has great graphics. Terraria is also a game you can't compare. It's obviously 2d and pixelated. As such it fits. Minecraft and terraria are examples of quality visuals within the art style. When you make a game that's meant to be realistic, then ofcourse realistic quality matters. When you see a blocky elbow, or bad textures, it does indeed take away from the experience. Maybe not by much depending on the game, but it still does !

That actually matches up so well. A New Hope: A brand new character is introduced to the crew (Soap/Luke) to eliminate the greatest threat they have ever had to face (Zakhaev/Death Star). Through several struggles and close run in's with the foe as well as the loss of close friends (Griggs and Gaz/Obi Wan) they are eventually slain. Empire Strikes Back: Despite taking down the key threat of the previous game/movie, they are back with a vengeance and a new threat has risen to take its place (Makarov/2nd Death Star). After striking home territory (USA/Hoth), our protagonists are forced to retreat and re-consolidate. After a climatic encounter with a powerful foe at the very end (Gen. Shepherd/Darth Vader), our protagonist is badly wounded (stabbed/lost a hand). Return of the Jedi: We now begin to push back the attackers and take the fight to them. We take down several key objectives on route to the main objective (tracking down Makarov's weapons dealers, his hide out/getting the Imperial Shuttle, turning off the shield generator). Just as things are looking for the better, things go haywire again (Russian President is kidnapped/the Rebels are ambushed at the generator), our protagonists manage to rise up once again and finally cut off the head of the snake (Makarov/the Emperor).

I remember playing this campaign. It felt like I was actually in the game, I was so immersed. The ending of the game felt so real. When Price was making his speech about the history of warfare, I felt like he was right next to me.
I just fckin love so much the "Makarov's Safehouse" to "Loose Ends" suite (2:21:52 to 2:35:12). It's beautiful and incredible. Whiskey Hotel also is one of the greatest songs here, mainly because of that awesome mission that it was.
What a fucking game this was. The main story mode, amazing, spec ops, great fun, multiplayer the best theres been in my view. Not too many over the top perks, but still enough to kick ass. loads of unockables and cammos... Good memories and great maps, endless replayability

Flying around, wall running/jumping takes more skill to shoot from those position's and to shoot at people doing those moves. Of course because you're probably worse at COD's based in the future, you'd dislike them and, "Have enough" of them. The COD series really put their eyes more on multiplayer in recent years.

Modern Warfare Trilogy = Best Call of Duties in my opinion
@PandaPool_
9 жыл бұрын
Stefano Pavone Modern Warfare 1 or Call of Duty 4 as I remember it at the time can still to this day be enjoyed as a standalone experience. MW2 picks up 1year after, uping the stakes and becoming one of the most fun CoD campaign experiences ever... MW3 however is much more of an 'EPIC' spectacle, with bland recycled set pieces and all linear story telling.
@PandaPool_

XuticX Funny thing is the movement isn't really innovative at all. Maybe for the CoD franchise yes, but tbh I like Titanfall's movement better. I would still be playing Titanfall if not for the smart pistol- it is developed by the same brilliant minds behind cod 1, 2, 4 and mw2 after all.

Literal nostalgia at every turn. I tried listening to this while I studied and instead found myself running through the scenarios in my head for each tune.
2:33:06 - Loose Ends Ending 2:33:53 - Shepherd's Betrayal
Strange. I coulda sworn we ended this game yesterday.
Quite arguably the best Call of Duty ever created.
The remaster is finally here!! Oh wait It's campaign only, even better.

@@developerninja619 with MP comes a ridiculous amount of updates and storage taking, especially with the way the devs have been going with the new modern warfare. MP is what gives a lot of call of duty's so much hate these days.

@@developerninja619 Even though I like the old engine a lot, I like how they're handling MW adding maps from old games. It feels like the perfect MW series multiplayer.

^Well, most videogames have been going a "military" styled shooter that is set somewhere in the middle east/Russia. Meanwhile, Battlefield hardline is a "Law Enforcement" styled shooter that's set in a downtown environment.
Аж плакать захотелось от крутости этих саундтреков 👍👍👍👍👍

Офигенная игра.
I miss this game I used to play it on my xbox
this has to be the best music in the history of gaming
I love how vivid memories can become when accompanied by music. I can still feel how tense it was running through the favela checking every corner for militia. The heartstring being pulled when Washington DC was getting torn apart. The betrayal with ghosts death. The heart stopping snow mobile chase. This game was one of the best entertainment experiences ever with campaign multiplayer and spec ops.
Reinstalling this game right now.

2:18:28 "SARGE, ARE YOU READING THIS??!" "I KNOW, THATS WHY WE GOT TO GET TO THE ROOF! MOVE!" actual goosebumps to this day still
I’ll never forget my dad buying me this game before Christmas, so I had MW2 before ANYONE in my high school (all grades). I popped it into my Xbox right away, and once those opening credits for the campaign started rolling, I knew this game would be legendary
