This would be very helpful in the future for sure. The "wrong way" of removing the canopy was painful to watch! lol. It would be very helpful again if you could kindly make a detailed video for attaching the Pitot Tube as well. Lot of us struggle with it. I had followed the instructions from your facebook video, but the pitot tube kept falling off until I was able to attach it properly. Since it is very small, chances of losing the pitot tube is very high. A detailed video for Pitot Tube fitting, just like this video, would be very helpful for people like me who struggle with it lol. Thanks a lot guys!

Ouch. It was painful to watch you demonstrate how the canopy breaks. Anyway, thanks for the informative video but why would we want to remove the canopy though?

We have anticipated that for collectors with larger fingers, They may have difficulties inserting the pilot figures. And if they insert the pilots with their fingers further pushing the canopy upwards, the canopy peg will also break from the forced applied to unintentionally “pry” the canopy back. But of course if the pilots are inserted via tweezers, then there is no need to remove the canopy.

Will this process work with the canopy on the TopGun F-14 Maverick & Goose, and Iceman & Slider models?

Yeah I’ll just weasel the RIO in with tweezers, I do NOT trust myself to do this, LOL

Not necessarily, you can use pincers to place the pilots into the cockpit as an option.

you detail is great but this totally takes away from the realism of an F-14s cockpit. I wont be buying anymore of your products unless you somehow make a VF-51 Screaming Eagles. Bye bye 8000 Philippine pesos on an otherwise great Macross product
