A great mod! AAE gets you to 2634 mm over all diameter tire. After some tweaking with the numbers, A8B gets you a tad closer at 2644 mm which is the absolute maximum Forscan will allow without a Check Engine light on my 2017 F250 Power stroke. With 37 inch Nito Ridge Grapplers it gets me within a 0.5 MPH difference. NO check Engine lights.

@billpro what is your full code for this? When I enter your 0A8B it kicks a warning message saying “incorrect checksum of data entered” - Did you change the 71CD to something? When I did the video 0AAE I am still off by 1.6mph running 37x12.5R17

Dude!!! I made the changes with Forscan and my speedometer is dead nuts on!! My 37/18 Wildpeaks measure 35.5 actual with weight on it and this mod made my speedometer go from 3 mph off to 0. I appreciate the research you did!!

I know you can easily adjust if those gears come from factory of a Ford! Easy adjustment.

Question on your OBD2 adapter - I bought the same one based off of this video and a couple others I watched. When I connect to my truck (2019 F350 Platinum) I get a message in Forscan that says the adapter is not compatible with my vehicle. I have made a couple changes and it seems to work just fine- just curious if you ever experienced this? I didn't see the message that I get pop up on your laptop when you were connecting.

I think I may have had to install the driver before utilizing the adapter. But I’ve never had issues with the adapter

I understand that 0aae is the 2734 circumference of the 37" tires but what is the change of 7166 to 71CD. Where did you get that from ?

Edit: yeah this was my question too but after trying it you do want to change the 7166 to the 71CD. He wasn’t super clear about it but it works. However I’m still off by 1.6mph running 37x12.5R17’s on a 19

Any idea what changed in 2020 Platinum? When I change my codes it turns several things off. Turns on my tool wrench, turns off my anti skid and a couple of other things.

Last time I checked, 2020 codes were slow to start. Different systems than the prior generation. Hopefully it starts to build up soon!

I have the 2019 f350 lariat with 3.55 gears stock tires were the 275/65r18 I just had 37x12.50r18 put on. Would I be safe with this formula?

Have you came up with a way to adjust the tire pressure sensors? my tire pressure sensors are indicating that I need more pressure in the rear tires but the max pressure I can use in my current 37s is 65 PSI.

Great information on the 37 tire calibration. I was hesitant to make this change as alot of people told me it would throw a CE code on my dash. I'm gonna give it a shot today. Again thanks for the video and hope this was a stupid comment.

@@MotorHead18 ok I done the calibration with ForScan and it works really well!! I'm at 1mph difference at 60mph, 70mph, 80mph. Before the calibration I was at 4 to 5 mph off at those speeds!!! Very happy, thanks brother!!!!

Anything larger than 37s will cause a check engine light unless you use a calibration tool. Even then then are capped at a certain size tire.

So if my truck is already tunned with ez link its ok to use forscan right?? I gotta get this check engine light off its driving me nuts 😅

Not all 35' tires measure 35 (if any) once actually mounted on the truck, which is where narrowing down the mounted diameter helps

Motorhead, Do you know what the input code would be for stock 20" wheels and tires? It was an option on my 2018 f250 KR, but I bought it used and it had stock 18's on it. I purchased the stock 20 set installed them and now my speedometer is off. I tried your code and it set the CEL. Thanks in advance for the help.
