Caliber Truck Co. Product Highlight - The Caliber II

We've been busy designing, testing, and re-designing the new Caliber II's, and we couldn't be more satisfied with the end results! Our goal is to deliver the highest quality product possible to riders everywhere. To us, that meant building upon our original truck design, tightening tolerances, and providing the most precise feel possible in a cast truck!
We've redesigned our bushing seat and chamfer, removed any slop in our pivot cups, switched to thinner paints, and have updated the kingpin hole design while pressing in the kingpin itself to remove all play. Furthermore, to increase the durability of our trucks we've applied a new heat treatment process - increasing truck strength by up to 40% - and reinforced our baseplate design.
To see the changes in action, check out Liam, James, and Tyler as they breakdown the re-design of trucks, while raging mountain passes at high altitudes!

I ride the Cals Blackout II 184mm 44's, also being my first Reverse Kingpin pair of trucks. Totally dig 'em! ~CURRENT Bushing SETUP~ Paired with Venom 95a Board Side 93a DH bushings (Front truck) and Venom SHR 98a Board Side and DH 95a roadside (rear truck). 3 weekends ago I took em 40+ mph and end up eating it being that my rear truck was loose at the time (95a BS 93a RS). I do plan to go 60+mph in the future! Wish me luck haha

James talks about going like 60mph but I have Caliber II's with 92A Barrels (Blood Orange.) and my trucks are almost as tight as possible and I wobble at around 40-45mph. Any tips? By the way I have 44 plates and 10' hangers. CaliberTruckCo

First off loosen your trucks. And shit jus get higher duro bushings. Then there comes practice. You can't set a board up and expect to go 60 without the right skill level. Wobbles are in your head.

+Dominic Kadusale the 44's have barrel style bushings and are a little lower as well as being a little better at downhill, the 50's are a little taller and have cone style bushings and the tend to be better at turning. Hope that helps!

44 degree trucks have a bigger turning circle but have a faster lean than a 50 degree truck. I like to compare it to doing a u turn with a small compact car (50 degree) versus a full size truck (44 or even a 42 or lower). they can turn the same way but ones gonna take more room to turn the same. I ride 42 gunmetal trucks downhill because I have alot of lean which helps with my slides and what not and I ride 50 caliber 2s for free ride up to 35mph. then I make a switch for 44. lower angle, more speed and stability but less turn. higher angle, more turn more response, less stability. hope that helps!
