    all these Justin fans cannot understand what they see on film in terms of arm motion. Caleb has insane release speed. Watch him and then go back and watch a little Marino. Very similar rocket release. Justin has a weird motion that takes too long and still needs work. Caleb can make any throw and he makes all the reads and he has an incredible knack for putting the ball in the exact correct spot where the receiver can catch turn and burn without any wasted motion. Anyone who knows film knows Caleb's talent level is absurd..... Justin is an incredible guy, but the tape shows he consistently missed open reads. You can't win consistently in the league with that. To Justin's credit, the Bears did a 'David Carr' job on him-- getting him crushed over and over to the point where he likely was seeing ghosts and a change of scenery as well as time as a QB2 may be just what the doctor ordered for him-- and I hope so. Couldn't have happened to a better guy. The Bears better not screw this up with mega talent like Williams coming in. Fortunately Ryan Poles is proving to be pretty talented at GM. Hopefully that continues.......

    ok, but look at his OL! They give him all the time in the world! Our OL gets QB's sacked if they don't have a quick release time. His run game looks solid, but so was JF's. Mahomes, Josh Allen, Lamar do these things in the NFL. People be hating on Caleb coz he is good. None of the Top 3 quarterbacks mentioned where as big as Caleb in College. You can only be a hater to think that his play extension is going to be a bad trait yet Mahomes is the prototype quarterback and when he had good weapons he would extend plays to get Tyreek Hill down field. Let the man prove himself.

  • @TonydaGM

    @napsterjulian He played nobody, broke plays early, held the ball, this is a recipe for disaster. He accomplished nothing in college that the top 3 QB's in this draft isn't do. He checks the physical gifted box the same exact way , Danies, Maye and JJ do

    @@TonydaGM JJ won the Natty does he go #1? Daniels won the Heismann does he go #1? What measure do you use to determine who goes #1? I thought it is the best player with the best upside. That is Caleb. Daniels shined one year on a star studded team, let’s not talk about JJ. Caleb can do what they do but they can’t do what Caleb does. That separates him from them.

  • @TonydaGM

    @TonydaGM

    Ай бұрын

    @napsterjulian No it's not Caleb, I look at every play from every draftable QB. You listen to every play by every commentator big difference. JJ checks every box for a 15 year NFL franchise QB. He doesn't feel pressure, he both defensive pressure and key moment of the game pressure. Caleb bails out early and passes up plays looking for bigger plays. He also is a turnover machine. The off field ,me 1st attitude the media portrays of him isn't helping him.

  • @napsterjulian

    @napsterjulian

    Ай бұрын

    @@TonydaGM JJ is the QB prototype of the past. That type of QB is one dimensional coz he has little to no run game. His draft stock is lower coz he played on a 12-0 team that was star studded. Caleb played off script plays coz his team was always down and had to go for deep big plays to get them back into games. However, the biggest portion of his body of work is pocket play what makes it to the highlight reel is his run game and the extended plays. If you look at his 90+ TDs in college 80% of them were from drives from the pocket the 20% outrageous ones makes it to the highlights and that’s all they show you. Caleb is him. Though he has to prove a lot in the pros not because of doubt but because of all the gifts he has. He works hard so I expect him to be very good for his first 2yrs and all world from there onwards coz he adapts very quickly see him in OU and Spencer Rattler.

    Got news for you - he won't be able to do most of this stuff in the NFL. Defenders will close ranks unbelievably fast & no offensive line can hold for as long as they did for him in college. Fields had the same success in college, but couldn't transfer that in the NFL - & Williams is a slower, smaller, less-athletic version of Fields & just as prone to fumbling. This kid has all the makings of a bust.
