His release and throwing velocity is just elite. He sees any opening and just lets it rip. Very impressive and will be easier for him to translate his game to the nfl because throwing windows get smaller

Everyone is hating on CW but the truth is that he is miles ahead of any other quarterback in the draft. His throwing motion is as perfect as it gets, arm strength is unbelievable, he has mahomes esque improvisation skills, is super athletic and has arguably the same or close to quickness and speed as Jayden Daniels. He is one of the best qb prospects I have ever seen, fits perfectly to the modern day NFL qb.

His game is very much like Rodgers except he's got more RB-like moves in the backfield. The best part is he doesn't like to run with the ball, he lives to throw the ball. The amount of JF supporters is bewildering, I mean he's just ass. Caleb's floor as a rookie, with their offensive upgrades, is probably slightly better than what JF put up last year.

  • @daragingbull

I think Caleb's on field vision is amazing. He constantly keeps his eyes downfield he knows where his receivers are and manipulates that pocket so well. I can't understand why people calls this man a bust because of last season which wasn't really on him. This man had one of the best offensive lines if not the best in the country in 22 and to come in the following year with pretty much a new o line that never really came together. He didn't struggled against the big teams that o-line struggled to provide the protection. Go back to that Notre Dame game the man was sacked 6xs after watching that I knew it was going to be a long season for him. Cj Stroud yes is a damn good qb and the reason he had a great season was all because the Texans drafted and invested in that offensive line. They protected their asset and if the bears take that same approach there's absolutely no reason why Caleb can't have success his first year especially with the weapons he will have.

The way he snaps the ball and drops back to throw it reminds me of Tom Brady. And his skill set is just as a good, if not better than, Patrick Mahomes.

Ok, so I get that the D was bad, but when you're down 38-13 in the 4th, your offense wasn't good either.

CW played against the most mediocre defenses at USC. The teams that had good defenses made CW look bad. He had all kinds of time to throw because he was playing against weak defenses

That second one is not a highlight. He fumbled on the snap. Recovered. And threw it near 2 defenders and the only reason it was completed was his reciever slowed up and redirected to make an incredible catch. In the NFL that's an INT.

Hes good, but hes got a long way to go to match up against NFL defenders. Alot of these throws would be picks against elite secondaries. Super talented, but super raw. Hes gonna need help. NFL will humble him.

Hope he knows in Chicago he wont be afforded all that time to dance around behind the line Fileds found that out the hard way. Plus refs hate Rookie qb's in Chicago that run so he won't get any blows to the head calls or late hits. GL to the young man thou.
