J.J. had a 73% completion rate this past season for third down throws that produced first downs or TDs. That was a full 20% better than Maye, and about 30% better than Williams, Daniels, Penix, and Nix. That's a fine indicatior of how those five guys rate as NFL prospects. He’s also number 1 throwing on the run with 70% complete. Watch the tape. Dude throws with heat

That POS’s gone and there’s a new regime running the show. New owner, GM, coaches and an overhaul of new players. Idc what anyone says, Washington tanked last year around mid season to be in the position they’re in now. This teams about to be sneaky good.

The same way I felt about how special Lamar was and how excited I was pre-draft is the same way I feel about Daniels. Commanders could FINALLY have the DAWG QB. Him throwing to Terry would be amazing.

Honestly, his biggest contribution will be that he opens up the run game. People underestimate how much of a dawg Brian Robinson is. Now they also have Eckler, so that run game is about to be a problem.

What people are worried about is health not talent. But I personally disagree with them. I've seen huge dudes like gronk and JJ watt have constant injury problems while some smaller framed guys stay very healthy. There's a lot that goes into injury problems and one of the biggest things could just be luck honestly. A lot of Washington fans are worried because he has a similar build to rg3. I'd argue if anyone took a shot like rg3 did straight to the knee they'd be busted up to

With Cousins now on board, they won't take a QB in the first round unless Daniels miraculously falls to them which isn't happeniny. They'll probably take whoever they think is the best pass rusher at #8 like Dallas Turner or Laiatu Latu.

You could say the same about Joe Burrow having the benefit of playing with Jamarr Chase and JJ. He turned out as advertised anyway. Daniels had arguably the best QB year ever besides Caleb Williams in 2022 and Burrow in 2019.

He had 3 TDs and 382 yards vs Alabama 12-2 (IN 3 QUARTERS) He had 1 TD and 410 yards vs FSU 13-1 (6 DROPPED PASSES INCLUDING 1 FOR SURE TD PASS) He had 4 TDs and 513 yards vs Ole Miss 11-2 (2 MORE TD PASSES WERE DROPPED BY HIS RECEIVERS) He had 4 TDs and 389 yards vs Mizzou 11-2 (REFS CALLED BACK 2 OF HIS OTHER TD RUNS ON BS) Taking away what should have been 6 more TDs vs four 11+ win teams, he still put up 12 TDs in those games.
